Hi Steve, yes the manual does refer to a photo pack, but since I was converting a D/F model to turbine I didn't miss them and just made it up as I went along, Ron.

RE: BVM 60
Hi Steve, I fly (occasionally) the small BVM Sabre. I have the manual but do not recall a photo set. I have the Maverick which does have the photo set. I assume yours is the DF kit. I have a Wren 70 in mine and if I can be of any help let me know. I will dig out the manual and see if there is any photos with it. Best of luck, Ron.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A THRUST TUBE WITHOUT SOME FORM OF ASSISTED ENTRY. I USE A LOT OF WREN THRUST TUBES.THEY HAVE DONE A LOT OF WORK ON AUGMENTATION. THEY MERELY CREATE A SMALL FLARED LIP AT THE ENTRANCE. RON.

RE: Century Jets Mig 15 Restoration log....
I used to fly one of these. It was one of the best flying jets I have ever owned. I used a Wren super sport. My only real complaint was the landing gear. I could never get it to tuck away cleanly. Best of luck and keep posting. Ron.

RE: Thorpe F-20 build
I will be interested in the weight of the model once assembled, lets know. I think we have all shared your heart ache having been there many times. I ended up ''peeling'' the soft paint off my BVM Sabre after six months of waiting till it hardened... it never happened. Hope you have more luck. A great model and well done, Ron.

RE: Thorpe F-20 build
Did you check the mix ratio of the hardener? If the paint is still soft after 24 hours then this may be the cause. I hope I am wrong and it cures for you. Every problem you have experienced has been repeated by thousands of your peers so you are not alone. Be aware that you are adding weight every time you spray. Best wishes, Ron.

RE: Thorpe F-20 build
Hi Terry, it was a long time ago that I built my F20. I don't remember what I had for lunch today!! I think the tail plane to fus' joint was square on top and blended with a fillet on the under surface. I think the rear outer edges of the fus' base were tapered into rear facing bullet pods. The BVM agressor and maverick illustrate a simple blend with their detachable tail cone. Ron

G'DAY Tisdall, looking forward to this. I have an early kit with a wren gold, some video somewhere of the maiden on you tube and a previous thread. I used the same control set up as you other than a standard retract valve. You must be struggling for fuel capacity and I will be interested in where you put the fuel. Best of luck, Ron.
