Mongoose gearing for Vendeta ST
I recently installed Mongoose 10.5 system in my Detta ST along w/Novak's 13t pinion w/the stock spur, this is the smallest pinion I have at the moment, still have not run the car yet,is this overgeared, undergeared ?? I really dont want to take a chance and run the car w/the wrong gearing and risk smoking the Mongoose up,BTW im running nimh's if that makes any difference in gear selections. Any advise and/or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks R.K.

RE: Vendetta ST and Mongoose review
This is very interesting,I just ordered the 10.5 system along w/the Novak 14t,15t,15t pinion set for my Detta ST. Any recommendations on which pinion i should use...I will mainly be doing parking lot bashing and speed runs. BTW I will be using Elite 6 cell nimh packs if it makes any difference,no lipo's just yet but hopefully in the near future, any advice i can get would be greatly appreciated.

RE: walkera 4#3 good?bad?
Go for the 4#3b 2.4ghz,it's got the aluminum upgrades and is basically much smoother and more stable than the 4#3,also check out RC Groups forum, there are many threads re. this heli.

RE: WALKERA 4#3B 2.4Ghz Metal Upgraded Edition Helicopter
Chect out RC Groups, there is a huge thread on the 4#3,and doing the brushless conversion,I believe it is the Losi micro t excelorin motor (1025 kv) if I'm not mistakin' for the top choice for a brushless motor.

RE: WALKERA 4#3B 2.4Ghz Metal Upgraded Edition Helicopter
I just ordered one myself, but w/standard shipping, came to $132.00 ,great deal. The only thing I'm concearned with is that on the RC Groups board ,people who dealt with Ehirobo did'nt have much good things to say about them, like totally screwing up customer orders and bad customer service. I guess weel' wait n' see.

Question???
Hey everyone, I got a Sportwerks Recoil and was wanting to put in a brushless system(wraith 7k/mamba esc combo)my question is,will I have to get a new rx,the stock one is a rx/esc combo and has one plug for the servo and bullet connectors for the motor,I dont see how the mamba esc would hook up the rx/esc unit, but then again I'm sort of new to this....

RE: Finally, Kyosho Inferno GT or Ofna Ultra GTP?
The I-GT is one sweet ride, but hold on Ofna is soon releasing the DM-1 RTR 1/7th scale, looks real nice!!!,before jumping the gun on anything definatly check out the DM-1, it's big and fast,I believe RC Driver mag had it clocked @ 60 mph,on a track i believe it would out handle the I-GT. Your money, your choice, bottom line any one of these 2 cars will put a big smile on your face. Good luck and have fun!!!!

RE: OH MY GOD!!! MUST SEE!!!
I've seen this before in the giant scale forums, this thing is so cool it's almost a crying shame that the owner or anyone for that matter will never know how this beast will perform, how can someone be content w/putting so much engineering, blood sweat and tears and not know ho it performs in reality, forget about theoretically!!...a machine like that needs to be driven to it's potential at least once...it would drive me crazy to start it up and let it idle and not know how it runs....cars are meant to be driven!!!!

RE: Traxxas 4-tec 3.3 pipe?
Checked out the LRP pipe...looks good, then I went to e- bay and got the vantage pipe for $65.00,thats $20.00 of the advertised price, not including shipping...I had to go for it. Damn this hobby is expensive!!!!!!!!!,throwing money in to 4 rc car's and a 1990 300zx 1:1 project car, when will this madness stop!?!?!?, hopefully never..........until the $$$$ runs out, then it's time to sell the wife[sm=teeth_smile.gif][sm=teeth_smile.gif]

RE: Traxxas 4-tec 3.3 pipe?
Check out the Vantage carbon fiber pipe for the Jato,it is a direct bolt on for the 4-tec,Vantage Racing claims the pipe will give stronger bottom end and really open up the top end. It looks very nice, lightweight but quite an expensive piece @ $85.00,I'm seriously considering getting one for my tec.
