THE hpi flux savage thread
its only a couple weeks away and was wondering if anybody is gonna drop the coin on this pig. i think the price is gonna be in the 630.00-650.00 range, so its gonna be right there with the revo. this looks like a really cool rig the only thing i see on it that i hate is the 14mm wheel hexes. im gonna upgrade mine to hpi 17mm hexes.

RE: Whats better the Associated B44 or the Yokomo MR-4BX???
im a hardcore 10th 4x4 racer and own a kyosho sp and the hotbodies d4WC. and have driven many b44 buggies and i will tell ya the d4 hotbodies is the best all around 4x4 out there. its the most durable and is bye far the easiest car to drive and drive fast. 2nd is the kyosho sp it to is easy to drive fast but finding a good solid set up on a really dry track can be kinda hard plus it breaks alot more than the other 2 cars. b44 3rd best just cause it can be kinda hard to drive it seems like a real jittery car to drive but the parts support and aftermarket goodies are simple to get. stay away from the losi stuff as its outdated and the yokomo is really pricey and parts are hard to get but i have heard its a good car butt ive never seen one run. just some options for ya.

RE: Novak GTB Meltdown
take it back to wherever you bought it hope you saved youre receipt. novak is very good about taking care of customers. ive seen alot of gtb novaks go poof in the last couple months. question is youre radio a 2.4 ghz spread spectrum type radio? cause i think the gtb is truly designed for a 2.4 ghz system and that may be why thease are going up in smoke cause some people arent using the right radio? i dont know its just a thought

RE: O'Donnel Z01-B finally released....
my hobbyshop has the odonnell for 550.00 its not odonnell thats overpriced its the stores that are selling them. and that priceis regular price not a sale price also if you havent seen one yet well youre kinda missing out i looked at one the other day and wow its a real nice looking kit not only did mr. odonnell pay attention to the detail on the buggy but they also paied attention to they way they meticulisly packaged the kit. my opinion odonnell put a real race machine on the market for 550.00. A.E. and losi need to take some notes on what quality is all about. there now im bashing!!!!! LOL oh i did own an rc8!!!![:D]

im not mad, LOL this kid has all the right in the world to run his car in the street as same with bikes/roller blades/ skate boards and so forth just keep in mind it only takes a crapy neigbor to complain and if you were to do some sort of bodily or property damage youre crapy neighbor does have the right to sue youre parents!!!!! im 36 and over the years i see our american rights as people dwindle away and alot of us just sit back and say oh well. before ya know it we will only ba able to wipe our butts on monday and friday!!!!![:'(] you know the helmet laws seat belt laws no smoking in public laws and soon to come here in good ol iowa a new law that states if you whant to ride a bicycle on the the streets you will have to pay 10.00 per year for a bike licence this includes kids also.[:'(][:'(][:@][:@] law makers make up new laws everyday to take away our american freedom yet out troops are risking everything over seas to defend american freedom?????? my good friend gave his life defending our so called american freedom. no. 1 this black kid has every RIGHT to drive his rc car in the street. 2nd there is no hunting season on squirells wich means you can kill them year around. 3rd if he wants to voice his opinion its in the bill of rights for him to do so and same with everybody.

RE: The Official Traxxas Slash short-course race truck
i finaly got to run this rig yesterday and well i thought it felt like a wet noodle. LOL me personaly i would put some thicker shock oils in cause it was so soft it made it feel real loose and caused it not to jump very well and bottom out real bad. this class it getting very popular in a real short time at my track i will get one in due time i really like how you can get into somebody on the track and not get tangeled up like in my buggy class ya i can see why you guys like thease things. i just wish traxxas would have made thease brushless.

RE: losi desert truck is avalible now
you can use the spur gears from the xxxt cr so you shouldnt have any problems re gearing it was just at the local hobby shop and looked at one didnt buy it but in due time i will i thought it looked really solid.

RE: losi desert truck is avalible now
im not gonna bash the slash[LOL:D] but here is why i would buy the losi. shocks can be upgraded to xxxt cr for cheap same with motor heat sink motor guard and alot of the carbon chassis goodies from the cr. and the clear body is already avalible from losi. also the xxxt wheels should fit right on. that means alot of tire options and losi race wheels plus the losi support. the rear gear diff is a huge deal when you go to a high power brushless/lipo system and its a low maintenence system. in my opinon this truck has a much better stance and lower center of gravity than the slash plus this chassis is a well proven race chassis. time will tell on the slash when people start taking it to the track. it will be interesting to see how the 2 stack against each other. i like the losi truck its just so cool looking and the lights will be fun to have on at my weekly wed. night races.

RE: losi desert truck is avalible now
i think the losi truck is on the xxxt cr chassis and shares some parts with the speedt so parts support will be there and it should perform decent at the track im pondering the idea of getting one and stick it in the mod truck class at my track wich if i do that it will be brushless/lipo. im just wondering if losi xxxt wheels will fit if they do im golden on wheel/tire choice. losi i hope will offer a clear body for this truck as they already have them for the mini late model slider. i just really like the looks of this truck. it looks very raceable. and durable

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
dude i was on youre side and didnt i tell you not to worry? LOL i knew you would get decent money for it its ebay!!!! glad ya did good oh and for anybody who is having diff leaking issues just go to autozone or napa and get some mobile one grease and put some on the inside by the outdrives and that will cure the leaking. my mugen mbx5 use to leak diff oil and grease is the cure. i think you guys are runnin some pretty insane diff fluids in this truck just rember the thicker the fluid the more strait line stability it will have but will make it loose in and out of corners. i was gonna try 2k to start with. 10k seems kinda thick to me.

RE: Stampede xl-5 or Rc10t4 or Losi Desert Truck
i say wait for the losi desert truck it will prove to be a good basher and with a simple tire swap you could go to the track and probley hang with other trucks im getting one when they are avalible and will go lipo/brushless with and stick it in mod truck class. i like being different its up to you but i think the desert truck just plain looks cool. same with the up coming traxxas slash

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
i like mine to just need to decide on either a speed passion or mamba 5700 i only will race mine no bashing i just picked up some ae springs and will retune the shocks and fill the rear diff with 2k diff fluid. im probley gonna end up with the mamba system just cause the price tag and it comes with all the soft ware. and i have to get rid of the rtr body i just cant stand the rtr look of it. its been a loooong time since i bought a rtr LOL. really wish this was avalible as an ss kit. still i think i made a good buy i just cant get over how cool this gear diff is is about time somebody put this in a 10/th scale. mabey things like this and lipo/brushless systems will help get electric racing back on top.[:D][8D]
