Well guys i figured it up to be $40+ worth of upgrades and $30+ worth of new parts plus the chassis itself. so listed it in the market here for $50 shipped OBO or take partial trade on a body or 12mm wheel tire combo that i can use on my sons rustler.

do you know if that bug body in your sig has the right wheelbase for a rustler? after i sell the volcano chassis i think im going to buy either the semi body or the bug body for the rustler.

well guys i got a super deal on a rustler chassis and used my electronics and wheels and tires. so now im getting ready to sell my sons volcano epx chassis. need help pricing it please. the good: alum hexs for the wheels. $10 value upgrade bearings instead of bushings for wheels $12 value upgrade alum rear hubs. $18 value upgrade pair of new dogbones in the pack new plastic spur gear truck has upgraded steel spur in it. $15 upgrade new diff cups for axles in pack the bad: needs new front bumper #02075 needs new steering hub #08002,08032,08028 no electronics except steering servo no wheels or tires no body how much should i ask for this? not sure of the value of used redcat chassis.

i got a volcano chassis im fixing to sell. it comes with 64 tooth steel and new 64 tooth plastic and a two steel pinions along with pair of new dogbones and aluminum rear hubs and alum 12mm hexnuts.

RE: Im a noob and i need help with my volcano epx
14 tooth wont fit. smallest i could get was 16 tooth to fit. motor will start to hit center drive shaft. i would order different motor. my 8.5 turn ezrun kit goes through doogbone axles. i also had to swap to steel pinion and spur gears. im running 7.4 lipo batttery.

pins in dogbones?
Am i the only one who goes through dogebones constantly? I even bought the cv style dogbones for the front and they are bent and both the regular style and the cv style the pins keep walking out. any tips to keep these things from coming out. i took the front cv style out to straighten and put a drop of blue loctite on the pins and they still backed out. now they are damaging the diff cups.

which turn motor did you go with and what pinion gear? i installed the 8.5t 60amp on my sons volcano with 17t pinion and its pretty quick with 2 cell lipos. cant wait to try 3 cell. i ordered the 9t 35 amp kit first but didnt think it would be strong enough so sold it to a friend for his sons rustler before even trying it. But in the rustler it runs 65mph on 3 cells. [;)]

i linked a robinson racing link that has 12 tooth to 24 tooth. robinson numbers are 1112 to 1124 on the volcano i couldnt go lower than 16 t cause the motor hits the driveshaft. ps i ordered mine from toadzrc.com they stock 14,15,17,19 for $2.98 each

Ok so when ordering a earthquake 8e what all extras should i get? extra front and rear diffs a pair of axles what else? more than one pair of axles? wheelie bar? hubs? please list any upgrades you think are neccesary to do or parts to keep on hand. There is no dealer around here so i will have to order parts from urc or rufaster. so i would like to plan ahead and order parts when i order the truck. thanks scott

just went thru 4 gears figuring this out on my sons volcano epx. figured out that it is 48 pitch [b]metric[/b] not standard. 48 pitch metric is also know as .6 mod or tamiya pitch. scroll down to the .6 mod gears"48 pitch metric". http://www.robinsonracing.com/catalog/32pitchpinion.html
