RE: my 32
Did you sand the paint between coats? I tried using 1000 grit after a couple coats of paint and all it did was scuff it up. After several coats of paint I let it dry for a couple of days before I sprayed 3 coats of clear. I had to spray it over the repair job I had to do in repairing some fiberglass which didn't stand up too well to a concrete wall. Hard to turn when your rudder gets wrapped up in some leaves just under the surface and are doing close to 40 MPH.

RE: my 32
What kind of paint did you use? From a spray can or air brush? I recently had to repair my UL-1 after a mishap and used a spraycan. It turned out OK but did't look as good as yours. I was going to buy an airbrush but went with a color as close to original in a can.

Lipo Battery Connectors-Which to use for a UL 1?
I am interested in buying an Aquacraft UL 1 Superior and am looking at which batteries to buy for it. I have found Turnigy 2S 20C 5000 mah Liposs for $19.99 each. Problem is they have 4mm bullet connectors. The UL 1 has Deans connectors. What should I do here? Cut the bullets off and solder on Deans? What about a charger? Do they all accept all different connectors? Appreciate any input.
