RE: Landing Gear Issue
I had the same issue. with my super cub LP. Get a propane torch from runnings or walmart for like 20 bucks. heat the gear till its glowing hot. then spray with water. ( i use a windex bottle full of water). repeat 3 or 4 times until they are hard. worked for me. i had to repaint mine since they were black. Goodluck!!! SHP

Ordering from hobbyking for FPV Gear how are they?
Hi. I plan to order some stuff from Hobbyking. its from the USA warehoue. Heres what i plan to order for now: Battery: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__20422__Turnigy_nano_tech_1300mah_2S_25_50C_Lipo_Pack_USA_Warehouse_.html FPV Platform: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__22880__ASW28_EPO_Electric_Glider_PNF_USA_Warehouse_.html i have a charger and reciever. i plan to order connectors, camera, and parts in a few weeks. anyone have problems with HK? does this glider look ok? it has full parts support. i plan to order 2 3 batteries so i have plenty of flight time. RE: Converting from glow to electric help!
Im throwing electric OUT! i recently bought a cessna 180 skytriner from nitroplanes. it came with a large 2200 battery and i bought a nice charger for it. for 55 inches that should keep me entertained until i can get my motor fixed. flew it today ( my nitro plane) and it runs like crap. fuel the went bad after i let it sit in the sun for a while. (in a metal contianer) now im S.O.L And have NO fuel. im gonna talk my parents into buying me a few gallons...... Any ideas on a conversion from Glow To Gas? my dad said its possible but doesnt know how. SHP

Thanks for the info Falldowngoboom! Heres my estmates. i fly ALOT. i mean a ton. i have 3 airplanes. a Greatplanes SS. Cessna 180 foam airplane, and a cessna 172 balsa model. on average i spend 100 dollars a YEAR on the quartsof fuel from tower hobbies and gallons from our hobby shop. not to mention glow plugs. thats fifty dollars. (i use OS Plugs ONLY) and maybe another 50 on props, and parts. on average thats 200 dollars. and thats close to whats falldowngoboom said. i do have a charger my freind gave me cuz it got zapped. (im very handy with a soldering iron!) and i dont plan on 3D Stuff. I like slow lazy flight. Thanks guys! SHP

Converting from glow to electric help!
Hi All. went to our hobby shop and the price of nitro was 29 dollars a gallon!!!!! 0_0. after we got some fuel we went to start my engine on my good ole cessna and we couldnt get it running!! After cleaning everything out, we took it up again. no problems. then it just quit. dad got upset and said that was why he switched to Gas. Im tired of the oily mess and the price of fuel. it is atrocious. I want to convert to brushless electric. fuel is free and it never stops working. i have a budget of 150 dollars. all i need is an ESCBEC Motor and Battery. anyone have any ideas? i was looking at the ones in hobbyking, but the site is crowded and i have no idea what i need or want. my current motor is a .46. Please Help.

How to adjust high and low speed needle valve on Evolution .46?
I need a step-by step instructions on how to set the low speed and high speed valves on my evolution power trainer .46 motor. its the one that hanger 9 puts on its p51d mustang PTS. i crashed it into my house and finally got it running again. just wayyyy to rich. and when i adjust the high speed it still needs tweaking on the low end. i lost the manual when it got sucked up by the plane LOL. Thanks! SHP

RE: Converting Tower Trainer into a scale plane?
I didnt ask for people to tell me what they think, i asked how to make the conversion. >_>. I want high torque servos because the manual reccomends high torque for the rudder! i want high torque for the throttle for a more realistic experience and more control. it shouldnt bother you cuz it isnt your money! How do you conver the wing to accompany 2 servos. i am going to do the flaperon idea i decided. thanks!!!

RE: Super Cub
Well you can buy the batteries from the super cub lp BNF and make it work. or just buy a dx5 TX and a super cub LP BNF. for like 200 dollars. you can buy the DSM version that comes with the dx5 and a plane for 250. i think. SHP
