RE: How are the PICCO or FANTOM Big Blocks?
i use the first generation fantom .27. it feels like it revs noticeably higher than my picco 26. i've never tried to remove the carb after thermalrd posted about how tight it was. he said that his wrestling it off resulted in metal shavings in the crankcase. the pullstart spring took a crap on me after about 1.5 gallons. i'd say it's a great racing engine, but i'd try an sh 28 before i buy a 2nd generation fantom. I'm not even sure what the difference is between the '04 and '05 fantom, but I do know that the sh is cheaper and proven to be reliable. I'm not an expert on tuning, but i've never experienced the on again/off again power problem that many have had trouble with. hope this helps.

RE: fuel not flowing! Please Help??
ORIGINAL: blah-blah If I disconnect one end of each of the fuel lines fuel runs thru the lines it's just when they are both connected that no fuel runs thru them. I don't have compressed air to blow thru the lines but I have blown thru them and could blow fuel thru the line easily with not much effort. Is everyone pretty much thinking it has something to do with my fuel lines?
you said you could blow fuel through the line easily. well, that's how you prime the engine. if nothing else works, this is it. make sure when you cover the exhaust that your finger is on there TIGHT . you should feel a bit of suction on your finger when you use your roto start. keep trying, man. it'll work.

RE: fuel not flowing! Please Help??
like zewski said earlier, try to blow through the end of the exhaust tube. this happened to me with my hyper 8 port. tried plugging the exhaust and turning over the flywheel and nothing happened. Kept trying, but no fuel moved through the lines. i don't know why but when i tilted the buggy to the rear, voila! fuel went right through. I didn't experience any more priming problems for the rest of the run. hope this helps...

RE: Racing Savage
hey man, this was posted by a guy at savage-central. i'm not too sure if there would be a noticeable change in the springs response. i usually store my trucks with the wheels off the ground anyway. I've never seen a how 2 of this b4 so sorry if I repeating some1 else... First what you'll need: - Fuel Tube - Sharp knife - Plyers - Shock Oil Then You must dismantle your shocks: Cut the fuel tubing to the size you want: Slide the Fuel tube onto the shaft All the way to the TOP: Insert the shaft Back into the shock casing: at this point it'll look like this (Limited next 2 stock) Reassemble the shocks and add your prefered shock oil (I would advise NOT to fill completely): Stock Next to mod'd I only added a short piece of fuel tube so there is not that great a difference but it Will lower the truck the same amount... Before Mod Pic: After Mod Pic (The Different tyres make a very slight difference) I also Added thicker shock oil in the shocks I mod'd. ( I have ONLY adjusted the Front) I hope this Helps some of you guys.... :D ***NEW*** Heres a Pic of my Savage that I've now limited all shocks (now hugs the floor) Cheers ***MCHSavage***
RE: Racing Savage
internal shock spacers. many use fuel tubing(about a quarter inch, depending on how low you want). some use zip-ties on their arms to limit travel. not too sure how well the zip-ties perform, but i do like how the fuel tubes perform. hope this helps
