are there many kits out there that can be built pretty cheap? I looked into the Tamiya TXT, looks very interesting!

RE: Want to get into RC Trucks > What to get?
Ill be riding on some dirt and some grass. Just general terrain. A 4WD Monster sounds nice, but are there any that will suit my interests? Honestly, I really dont know these terms like stadium trust of Corr-type truck. What will those be best for? I honestly want to progress to something very fast on the same car. Im looking to go over 50 mph after upgrades.

RE: 747 AIR FORCE ONE
I just want to say hi on this thread so I can say that I actually participated in this thread before it gets locked and shut down. I was meaning to do that on the other guy's thread about his stolen jet that was sold to some brazilian, but i was too late. Anyway, I have to give the kid some credit for trying to improve some other kids' lives including his own, but get real... (insert fancy comment here). On a more serious note, it certainly does p**s me off how random people can setup an account on rcu and demand to obtain information and support on a completely ridiculous project (not to mention with such TERRIBLE attitude). While im thinking about ridiculous ideas.... I want to build an RC plane that can be refueled by an RC flying tanker and have solar panels on the wings to recharge the RX batteries so I can fly ALL day[sm=rolleyes.gif]. [:D][:D][:D]

RE: Can I use a Heli Engine on a Plane?
So I tried it out... Currently, this airplane is my FAVORITE!! It hauls across the sky at over 100mph. Perfect combination... I am very happy with it. Starts after one flip of the prop and it was perfectly tuned out of the box. I couldn't have asked for more.

RE: World Models Combat Series Wing Setting Issue
ill take your word for it and see how it flies. I am not quite sure what you are trying to say by "shimming the right screw to make it 90 degrees". Anyway, I am still waiting for a few parts (muffler, pushrods, and EZ connectors) and Ill try to make it fly by saturday (that is if tower hobbies ships my order some time soon!). Ill let you know how it flies. That is an OS .37 SZH Heli engine on the front by the way. Should fly pretty solid. I've grown fond of the planes simple construction and cannot wait to see how it flies. I too have heard excellent things about world models.

RE: World Models Combat Series Wing Setting Issue
I tried taking an eve picture. The right half of the wing (camera right) seems to be up a little higher. I can assure you that the elevator and rudder are perfectly alligned at 90 degrees.

RE: World Models Combat Series Wing Setting Issue
Well, I was assembling the model according to the instructions. They told me to epoxy the elevator and rudder in (this was the couple first steps). Now they told me to place the wing in place and "adjust". How am I supposed to adjust when the elevator has been glued on already? These instructions can be misleading...

Can I use a Heli Engine on a Plane?
Hi Everybody! I couldn't find an engine thread, so I'd thought I'd give this a try. I have an World Models .25 Size Aircombat Series airplane. I also have a brand new O.S. 0.37SZ Helicopter Engine. Are there any benefits to using a heli engine on this airplane? Do the costs outweigh the benefits? Thanks everybody! Samolot

He will post the product key numbers for the main installation disks as well as a picture of the interferance cable he has ( it the is JR one that works with spektrum radios) ASAP. What will you do to make this work? Please tell me this is possible.... :)

Hi, I was wondering how can you unregister AFPD? I sold my copy to another member who needed it more and now he is having difficulty running the program. Is there a way he can send his products keys somewhere and then he can obtain new keys to make everything work on his computer? Thanks

RE: Field Equipment -> Already have plane stuff, what else?
Well, I have bought nearly everything I need for my new nitro heli. I got nut drivers, a good set of hex drivers, blade balancer, pitch gauge with paddle gauge, body reamer, etc... All i am missing is the 6 mm adapter, external glow driver and the engine, receiver, rx battery, and the heli itself. Hopefully I can get a good package going with heliproz or heli hobby with all the things i need. I got four great servos and i recently purchased a gyro/servo combo by JR. I have invested many hours on the simulator and can fly glow helis pretty well (hover, forward and backward flights, forward and reverse figures eights, etc...). I just need the heli at this point. Any thoughts on where I should go? I like flying the sceadu evo .50 on the sim, and the raptor 30 is also pretty good flying. They really all seem pretty well behaved in the sim (I would assume so anyway since it is a simulator simulating the perfectly setup heli). I forgot to mention, I am using the AFPD simulator (for planes) and the Phoenix Simulator (for helis). Anything else I need?

RE: Help me pick out a GLOW heli!
I am a member of a flying site. They fly helis. They fly all sorts of them, mostly JR Vibe 90's, which is out of my league. I have seen a couple raptor 30's around. A heli is a heli. As long as its setup right and I have good parts support, I think I should be fine. If you feel otherwise, teach me.

Fixed Pitch Helis.
Hi, I just have a quick question about the helis in AFPD. Is there any way to fly them with a fixed pitch? Im a beginner heli pilot and dealing with collective pitch using the throttle is a bit difficult at this point. I want to be able to throttle up and not deal with pitch right now. On a side note: The Heli's in the team edition addon are UNBELIEVABLE!!! They look SO good! Thanks! Samolot

Unregistering aerofly addons
Hi, My DX7 works great with the simulator via the old cable. The only problem is that my simulator doesnt recognize the addons and asks me to activate them again. I tried doing this but an error comes up telling me that the addons are already registered (duh). So how do I unregister these addons so I can re-register them again? Thanks Samolot
