MX240 during my Air Force days I spent a 30 day leave with a wonderful family in Grand Island by the name of Rohs. I was stationed with their son at three different Bases and we had leave together and since I didn't want to go back to SC, i spent it with them. Had a wonderful time, learned a lot about farming . Something I will always remember fondly. sarg96

chrisp, one other thing you might want to consider is small Heim Joints on the ends of your wing struts, Makes for easy field setup and the strut stays with the wing. In 1947 I paid $12.95 for the O/R 60 and now they are going for between $175-200 and from your pics I would say yours would bring somewhere in the top of that range. I am assuming it turns over freely and I can see it has all the parts that came with it new. sarg96

I too had a great time as I usually do. I go down on Thursday and casually set up my tables on Friday morning and enjoy the crowd. Due to not being able to walk very far I was restricted to the Magill Building but I did really enjoy the show. I will see you all next year which will be my 13th sarg96

The formula for figureing out the length of wire you need is: 234 devided by freq (in mhz) x12 to give inches. This the formula for a 1/4 wave length antenna which is what we use for out radio systems. Example: 234 devided by 72mhz=3.25X12=39inches sarg96

My first engine was an Ohlson&Rice 23 followed shortly by an Ohlson&Rice 60 both ignition engines, the 23 for my birthday and the 60 for Christmas 1947 at age of 14. Just had my 75th Nov 30th this year, so have been in this hobby for quite sometime and there has never been a time when I didn't enjoy it. sarg96
