Bob, it took me hours.. litterally.. differant settings, save to pc, upload to Youtube, try again.. over and over.. if you get Elements ( one of the better editting softwares) PM me and I will shoot you my phone number... I can talk faster than type.. :)

I'm zoomed all the way out.. and shooting ..I was told with any zoom the quality goes down I haven't played with it to find out for myself. That was the first clip shot with it. I figure if I want to zoom in on a target I just fly a little closer. The tricky part is figuring out what output settings in Adobe Elements 7 to use to achieve the proper wide screen and Bitrate for a nice video. That took some time but I figured it out.. I have a Hobby Wireless FPV system coming so it should be sweet!

I haven't only side ways.. but prefer forward facing.. My Canon a590is was used to make the WEROCK video I have posted and after watching that I decided I needed a better camera.. I found it now!!! The Canon is 8mp and takes REALLY nice still shots!

I have the oringinal Flycamone with 1g card, hacked the case and put a Futaba lead on it (it now runs off the battery in the plane via a spare open channel) No more 2 minute videos due to the internal battery not co-operating... video now until the card runs out.. The mic has been disabled (Tired of hearing wind noise and motor whine) videos at 320x240 You can have it for $30 shipped.... it's fun to play around with and get you hooked on AV..Then when you get serious move to a better camera.. I took this video with it...the video quality is a bit better on the computer then the upload to Youtube makes it a liitle worse.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOjqPuYv_us

I fly it just as you see it . It is at a slight angle .. I put masking tape over the USB port to prevent dirt and rocks from kicking up In there. The best $200 camera (8gig 2 hours of video, removeable batteries)

Best video camera yet
I've went through about 6... yes 6 video cameras since getting hooked on this. FC1,two Aipteks,FC2, and a Sony (All Junk compared to this!)... but this is The neatest little camera I've came across in a LONG time! The Flip ultra HD....I made a new mount for the Flip so it hangs lower by 1/2 so i can shoot more forward and avoid the prop.. this video was taken with the first mount.. simple, clean and HD! 1280x720 res .. I set the bitrate in Adobe Elements abit low (2k)for this first video hoping to keep the file size small but found if i bump it up to 7k it is still small enough for upload to Youtube Hit the link to watch it full screen or just HD... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiMPmOfrUIk ..... Hi guys! Actually I'm an old timer here.. Just lurking around! LOL! I made that video probably a couple years ago.. The cub was stock then as it is now except now it is powered by a 2200 Align lipo.. Big differance! The camera is the Original FlyCamOne. It's been a good camera and when I got it (at Overstock.com) it was 30 bucks.. I should've bought all they had at the time.. dang it! since then the internal battery has died and I modded it to run on a 4 cell humppack or a spare channel on any of my other planes. The pictures shown were taken with the Aiptek dv4100 that plugged into the xport switch of the Cub. he used to carry it but has since changed to this new camera, I ordered the new style from him last night. and will be using it on a I built a Slow stick with Spectrum 2.4g ..I can't wait!

I have the Flycamone.. you can't beat this thing for the money and quality ( I got mine for $30 2 yrs ago at Overstock.com).. I have dropped it from the sky, ran into fences, strapped it to my goggles, on my helmet, you name it, it's done it! good sound and video, although Youtube messes them up upon upload , they look great on your pc..you can't go wrong! I know the feeling Prior to seeing the ad I was out night flying with my Super Cub.... Little bugger got away from me and I went through numerous feilds and backyards on my quest to find my beloved Cub! I found it right side up in a parking lot 3 blocks away.. Missed all kinds of trees and roof tops.! LOL! needless to say I'll give that up for a while! People kinda look at you strange when you trapes through their yard holding an airplane full of lights!
