RE: AkroMaster CL-20
Hey, the guy asked a question and needed some info, so I gave him the BEST answer I knew. There are literally volumes of info on this exact subject at those sites and I did not have the time or inclination to write them all here. So what should we do, not give the guy help because it exists on another stunt specific forum so we please you, or should we help the guy out if he needs it? These forums are great and I have gotten and given much info here, but to be honest, the best and most control line flyers frequent those 2 forums and a control line hopeful could learn anything and everything they ever wondered about there. Lets not let politics stand in the way of a guy getting some good info.

I think the left hand picture from left to right is: Fuel line to engine, Uniflow to muffler pressure or vented into airstream, and fill line.

Picco engine ID help?
I have a Picco marine engine that appears to be around .30 size. It has a front intake with a slide-barrel carb, and a 180 degree cast header that mounts with a spring around the cylinder. Anyony have any clue to what engine this is? it has no other markings except "PICCO" on the case sides...

Dumas still has them listed under "specials" for $31. The foam was a little mushed, but like everything Dumas, you just gotta work with it![:@]

Dumas Lil Rascal by a newbie...
Hey guys, Kinda new here except for asking a few questions about a new boat I was building. I ran boats as a kid, and had outriggers, tunnel hulls and a few airboats. I had a Dumas Lil Rascal back then with an OS 10 FSR-M and it was a fun little boat. Ran good and looked neat until my buddy measured his boats prop pitch across the top of the front end.....Anyhoo,.... I have been flying airplanes (C/L and R/C) these days and somehow got the itch to build another Lil Rascal. I know it is a dated design, but I just like to build stuff and it should be fun. For a little more power, I used an OS 15 CV-M and a Grim Racer 55x45(?) prop. (I found out what Grim was all about when I put it on the balancer!!!) I thought about using a little Octura strut or something similar, but it would be hard to balance out with that weight on the rear, so I used the Dumas hardware(also VERY Grim!!) with a little working over. I haven't had it in the water yet, but it's ready to go. Broke the engine in with an 8-4 airplane prop and it showed good power output. Hope it turns out to be as fun as my original one... If the throttle is wide open, the compression would be the same. With the throttle closed, there is less air available to compress.
