RE: Traxxas RTR 1/8 NRHA Funny Car Race Replica
To all of you idiots that are bashing this car and bashing Rc Drag Racing, dont understand RC drag racing.i have said it on other forums, and ill say it here, all you rustler freaks that your truck is soooo fast, anybody can take a savage or rustler and go to a big ass parking lot and make speed runs with no bounderies..pretty simple guys, any of you that are complaining is easy and boring, here is a little test for you, take your fast ass savages,or rustlers..go tothat bigass parking lot but take a can of spray paint... Now take that paint and draw two lines about 14ft apart, and about 150 ft long.. now sit down your rustler or your savage.then all at once Mash the throttle full and dont let up and see if you can keep it between the lines without crosiing over them..Also instead of all you guys that make these cars go 90mph..try gearing them alittle lower,so they come off the line alot harder..then lets see you guys brag that RC Drag RACING IS EASY!!!!!!!Because i will bet money on it you guys wont be able to keep it between the lines at least for your first 10 runs.RC drag racing is just as involved in setup, suspension, aligmnents, weight, just like any other form of RC racing. But before you guys get on here an brag you did it,please post a video of your runs.iam not saying that you wont be able to do it,but you will find out very quickly that its way harder than you guys think.

RE: Has anyone seen this Traxxas Yet
Oh I believe anything can be fast, but to makea drag car that competitive,at the tracks, team walburn or litespeed. or any other brand of drag chassis is in the $400 range,ok maybe RJ speed isnt. but to go up against guys a local drag tracks, chassis are always around $350-$400..ok a lipo battery for drag racing is going to be at least $100,radio system $200..brushless system at least $200.thats all am saying..but this car might be a RTR. but this car has so much potenional.some one will put a bigger lipo battery and a bigger brushless motor and have one going close to 100mph,and dont have to spend a $1000..my two cents guys.

RE: Has anyone seen this Traxxas Yet
Thats what i thought, we are talking about maybe a stock class or somewhere to start in RC drag racing, you show a full blown MOD dragster ,and for About $400 for the chassis,...then for a powerful brushless system would be at least $250...then for a radio another $200..so not in the same ballpark. Here is a nice launch shot from a video from Rc car action.

New Hot Wheels RC Mirco Cars..Very Fast
Hey Guys, I was at Target Last the other night, and saw these cool Little RC micro cars, and they are very fast. Check out this Video i saw on them at a toy show.I guess they have 2x 30,000 motors,a tiny lipo battery, and each front wheel has its own motor for steering. They are smaller thena hot wheels, and alittle bigger than Micro machines.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOm3hDYostk&feature=player_detailpage Also here is a couple pictures of them.

RE: Micro RC Hot Wheel Cars ????
well basically the Xmods were ver y cool when they first came out,but radio shck wasnt keeoing up with bringing new stuff ofr them out and stuff and they just went to the way side, radio shack used to be verycool place for toys and RC cars and stuff, now they are just a mobile phone store, really in my opinion.but i think you can still find XMODS on ebay too.

RE: Micro RC Hot Wheel Cars ????
yeah but its the fastest micro RC car on the planet, there are no Rc cars that size and alittle bigger that can handle loops, those ZIP ZAPS were popular from radio shack and they were way slow.I cant believe no else has bought ay of them and post video on youtube.

RE: Micro RC Hot Wheel Cars ????
But can you imagine about 4 or 5 of these on the sizzlers Fat Track!!!!.yeah they look alittle funky, but not too bad in my mind and for how fast they are, some of the other cars dont have all these decals like this one,but give hots wheels some time and i et theywill have a lot of others that look really cool.i think i can find some other photos.

And here is anothershot, alot of the cars arent this detailed, and yes the wheels stick out alittle, but i think they did that for stability reasons....
