hpi savage flux
hi thinking about getting a flux, anyone have one, whats your opinion on it and how does the esc and motor do when your doing 60 mph,do they get really hot, just wondering, ive had some issues with past brushless systems in the past, dont want to dish all that money out if i cant have fun with, like going fast often without having to worry about the esc or motor getting to hot so it gets ruined thanks for any input.

baja only starts when i put 2 cycle oil iin piston
hi,just put a new big bore kit in my baja,i have spark,i have a new plug, ciol gap is good, ive tried numurous things, the only way it starts is if i put a littlle 2 cycle oil in piston, and it only runs for a few seconds, does this mean i have low compression, and how do i fix it,thanks,oh buy the way ,i do have the piston arrow facing the exhaust port,.

help with big bore kit
hi,just got a big bore kit from ddm, when i installed the piston,i read that the arrow on top of piston should be facing exhaust port, but there was no arrow on top of piston, the other side of piston was the little notch that the space in the ring goes ,my question is i have the notch facing the exhaust port, instead of intake port, will it be ok if i left it this way,i read that the notch is suppose to be on the intake side, thanks for any input

hi slawhammer,i did try the 813 again, nothing,i might end up getting a new engine, really dont want to do that but might not have a choice, thanks to everyone for all the suggestions.oh im not going to get a new head and piston, just in case thats the problem,i just really dont want to deal with this anymore, hopefully a new engine will start.

RE: baja will not start.
hi slawhammer,it is a new 668 carb, maybe when i took thehead off, because i was so frustrated, that i somehow possibly lost compression,i dont know,if my sparkplug is dry after numerouspulls, that means im not getting fuel to the engine right, could that be caused by bad compression,im still not ready to give up on this yet.

RE: baja will not start.
hi guys, ive tried all of those suggestions, put fuel in the sparkplug hole,no leaks that i can see anywhere, needle settings are 1.5 out on both needles, ive tried changing them a bit but nothing at all, engine doesnt want to start period, not even a pop and spark plug is new and carb is new, the 28.5 cc head kit has about 6 or 7 tanks thru it,so might not be piston,it does have spark, anybody want to buy this thing lol.

RE: baja will not start.
hi slawhammer, theres definately fuel in the bulb, even with the choke full open, she doesnt want to do anything,it has plenty of spark, should i check compression, not really sure how to do that.
