RE: 27% Edge 540 GP or 27% Extra 330S GP
The great planes Extra is the way to go out of the 2. They are not really big enough for a 50cc IMHO, I had the Sukhoi and did not like it. My flying buddy bought the airframe and flew it on an OS 160 and it flew 10x better with the lighter setup!! The GP Extra has a 2pc wing!! the Sukhoi is a bit of a pain with 1pc wing that bolts to the bottom of the bird!! The Edge has a 1pc wing that bolts on the top of the fuse.

RE: Rossi engine info?
Here is a thread on the Rossi 60 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5471391/anchors_5471391/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#5471391 Rossi's are a real high rpm engine and they are simply amazing engines. I ran a Rossi 60 for a couple of years. Great engine!! I am sure that the new ones are as good as the old ones?? I had the old one, a flying buddy brought back from overseas(he was in the Air Force). I did have to run 2 head shims to allow for 15% nitro. http://shop.vendio.com/RossiEnginesUSA/

I built one with an AX 75 and slimline pitts, completely in the cowl. I have pics in another thread in the ARF section- I think. I am looking at building another one with a Jett 60xl, I wonder if the Jett 76 would work the same way?? a clean install. I am also looking at the new OS 95AX that just came out.

I bought one of these for a GP Reactor Bibe I am building now. Maybe flying this weekend. I have a 75AX in a Sundowner 50, I would like more performance now and am thinking of putting a 95 in it too. I'll see how the first one runs.

RE: H9 P51 and Nitro Planes P51 merie - What' the difference
Nitro Planes: cheaper covering, little to no glue on the frame structuce. poor hardware, If you are a builder and don't mind putting extra time working on an ARF the Nitro may work for you. I would never buy one, my flying buddy is a builder and he has good luck with Nitro Planes. Just takes some time and a little money to get er built. Oh yeah, basic structure: Wood parts look identical. Covering can be a realy bear. Doesn't take much heat and will lift along the edges(nothing canopy glue won't fix). What's your time worth??

I have the Bibe sitting on the bench. I am trying to decide between the 95AX and the 110 Alpha!! I have the electric Reactor Bibe(Love it), I had the 46-70 size mono Reactor(loved it too) it was electric with 9650 servos-sold it to a flying buddy. I can't wait to fly this ship. I love the Orange, it will go with my Futaba guidance system.

RE: Good Futaba Service!
Well, Bax got back to me. Said it took a few days to follow up on my repair order. Last year about Oct I switched to a JR 12x. First my TX battery would not charge. I sent it all in to the shop. I had a bad charger that was replaced(almost 4 weeks with shipping time). Then the radio kept losing bind between flights. That is I would build the plane up get ready to fly and it would not link up to the TX so I would have to get to the RX and rebind it. I hated programming the 12x. It is the dumbist thing ever. I would be able to see what I wanted but I could not select it to program that function. I would have to back out of a menu, go in another menu somewhere, disable something, back out of that menu and back to the first menu and then I could program the function I wanted too. Not all switches are programmable with the 12x. Some switches can only be programmed to certain things. There were lots of little things that drove me nuts. It did not have the awesome connection my 12Z had either. The responce seemed slower. the 12x seemed closer to the feel of my 9C super radio. RE: Good Futaba Service!
Humm, Well I have what I consider questionable service on my one month old 14MZ. I sent two PM's to Bax with details and no responce from him in over a week. I have the read reciepts via the PM system here on RCU!! I am not happy with Hobby Services or there leader Bax. We have never heard what the deal is with the Dots. It has been over 2 months since Bax posted that he had asked Futaba for and answer and would let us know as soon as information was giving to him. I find it hard to believe that Bax/Hobby Services has not heard anything from Futaba Japan in over 2 months!!! It is a shame they make such a good product!!! I switched to JR late last year and am already back. It sure wasn't for the "Good Service"!!!!
