Stick ends
Are there any futaba stick ends other than the ones that come with the transmitter? (Different colors, grips, etc) The ones that come with the TX are sharp and I don't like the grip. I'm used to the JR ones ... I searched the net and didn't find any..

14MZ Stylus
Hi, I have just bought a 14MZ a month ago and saw may friend's 14mz and I have a question. The stylus that he has is not pointy. It is rounded in the end. My stylus/wrench box I got is the pointy one. which is better? And where I can get the other kind if its better? As I can see that in towerhobbies the pics show all the same stylus style i have.. Thanks, Ahmed

RE: 14MZ and AFPD
Yes, all of the above done. But there are like a couple of options: PPM8 , PPM12 , STANDARD , REVERSE .. Also I have been told that you have to adjust with the trainer setup? If anybody has the 14MZ and the sim is working please post your setup :) Ahmed

RE: New Planes..
How about making the 100cc yak and 150cc in a competition version which is all composite :) As you know there are no Yak-54 composites in the market (except 3Ws which only the fuselage is composite) and yours would be the first :D Ahmed

New Planes..
Hi, I have been flying QQ Planes for over two years now and they are the best I've ever flown. I have owned the old 72" Yak, 85" Yak, and 102" Yak from QQ. People here in Kuwait call me Kuwait's Somenzini because I'm the one from the few that fly your planes here. Since then I have dreamed of you making composite "professional" grade planes from the planes you have. How about making from each plane or lets say 100cc and up a composite competition version for people who are serious and want these planes for use with competitions? If there is any intention of making composite planes at QQ aircraft please tell me :D Most people here switched to composites because they are cleaner and look new even after a 1000 flights. Thanks, Ahmed

ZDZ 80 Kuwait
I have a newly purchased ZDZ 80 RV I bought about 4 months ago. After the first 15 flights using Ashless oil for break in and NX 24x10 propeller with 98% octane and 32:1 oil ratio. After a couple flight after switching to synthetic at 40:1 the engine had the following problems: - Muffler usually gets loose - Engine takes alot of time to start - Engine pressure was gone As a result, I have sent the engine to ZDZ CZ for fixing and it has just arrived again and they told me I had a problem with the hall sensor and cooling. I have modified the cowl to make it cool much better. As you know Kuwait is a hot country and these days the temp is around 40 celcius which is about 104 fahrenheit. The good news is that now the engine starts normally and ZDZ CZ fixed the sensor for me. My question is that my temp readings are about 300 Fahrenheit with 24x10 mejzlik with 32:1 ashless oil again. My only problem is the temp readings I want to know if they are normal and the engine from idle to midrange has a bit of "cuts" and when I finished test flying for the first time today there is no oil on the plane. So: #1 is the plane too lean baring in mind ZDZ CZ fixed it? #2 Is my temp readings normal? #3 Is my mixture of fuel correct with 98% octane and 32:1 ashless? Below are the pics of my plane now... I have had Tamjets F-16 funscale (the old one which was aileron not elevon) and crashed... Tamjets don't have the old version anymore... Is the retract and exhaust of the Tamjets the same as the cermark? And is the plane exactly the same?

RE: New QQ-Yak 86" Pictures and Flight Report
I always like to be honest to you Quique as you are to us .... This scheme ROCKS! Its the scheme I liked when someone painted a 3W Yak 150cc exactly as this! Excellent choice! As part of this tbh I didn't like the scheme of the new Yak 73" as I have the 72" and I still like the red scheme and also I'm an owner of the 102" also... Thank you, Ahmed

RE: 73" yak evolution 26gt
I have 72" Yak ( the old one) with MVVS 1.6 (26cc) which is exactly the same as the evo 26gt Setup is as follows: MVVS 1.6 26cc engine (same as the evolution 26gt) Bisson inverted muffler for 26cc MVVS/evolution gt 4 x Hitec 5925 on ailerons and elevator 1 x Hitec 5945 on rudder 2 x Hitec 325 on throttle and choke 7 channel spcm receiver JR 6v 2100mah NiMH on RX 4.8v 1650mah on ignition 3" spinner from tru turn prop i will discuss below cuz i tried a few As a reply to ramduster i did modify the firewall a lil bit to make the bisson muffler fit, but this is on the 72" model don't know if the new one is the same.. It has over 15 flights now and I can tell you that nitro is MUCH more power for this plane, but I don't like nitro anymore. It is fantastic with Gas with no problems while starting, etc. Also the wing loading is quite the same as i flew a friend's Yak with a saito 180. It has much more power but I still think gas is more durable . Hovering is great and pulls out fairly good (not as powerful as a Nitro) At first when I got it I used a Mejzlik 18x6 prop and I was not pleased with it. Very high RPM without much power and very noisy .. Then I got a 18x8 Master Scimitar prop and it was great! Power is much more while hovering, pulls out much faster (faster than Quique's on the video), lower RPM, less noise. So I got a 18x8 Mejzlik prop cuz im in love with CF props, but still didn't try it. Anyways hope this report helps you! (I'm still in break-in fuel though) And Quique I recommend you trying 18x8 u'll like it !

RE: QQ-Yak 73" With Evo 26, Video and Report
Thank you for your report! Although I would like to add some more info cuz I did the same setup on the previous 72" Yak from QQ models. Setup is as follows: MVVS 1.6 26cc engine (same as the evolution 26gt) Bisson inverted muffler for 26cc MVVS/evolution gt 4 x Hitec 5925 on ailerons and elevator 1 x Hitec 5945 on rudder 2 x Hitec 325 on throttle and choke 7 channel spcm receiver JR 6v 2100mah NiMH on RX 4.8v 1650mah on ignition 3" spinner from tru turn prop i will discuss below cuz i tried a few [;)] As a reply to ramduster i did modify the firewall a lil bit to make the bisson muffler fit, but this is on the 72" model don't know if the new one is the same.. RE: Quique Somenzini YAK-54S 73"
Excellent plane following the successful 72" Yak. I have the 72" Yak with a gasser already. Plugged in MVVS 1.6 (26cc). Power is average. Nitro would be much more power. For people considering larger engines for this plane, consider the prop clearance from the ground. If you plug in a 40cc your minimum prop diameter would be 20. For the 72" yak, an 18" prop is very close to the ground so consider that. (Hard landing would break the prop). I am thinking about powering this plane with saito 180, best choice for power. Excellent plane, but I really didn't like the scheme :). I think the previous scheme with the red/yellow is the best till now on a Yak.
