I was wondering if the flight max 2200mah would fit in the e revo vxl? I see alot of people using the 1800mah flightmax's and thought maybe because their smaller and they fit. If you guys would let me know that would be great? I want the 2200 for more run time but if they don't fit its no good.[:D]

E revo vxl dirt in diffs
Well i have had my 1/16 e revo for about 2 weeks now and the rear and front diffs keep getting dirt in them. I have taken them apart 4 times to clean. Its a poor design for sher, it should not be happening. All traxxas would have to do is install a rubber gasket to keep the dirt from getting in under the chassis. Good luck with a dumb problem!!

RE: what is a good beginner airplane
Well i think you need to get something with a rear mounted motor so when or if you crash you will save the motor. The wild hawk would be the best thing to have imo.

RE: charging lipos question??
My dads a pilot and he is flying to Hong Kong this coming week so I am having him pick me up my 1/16 E Revo batteries and charger ect. Ow would someone give me a link to the adapter that tricks the charger into thinking its charging one 4s pack when its two 2s packs. Thanks for all your help guys. I have been really busy just got a job at my local hobby shop doing repairs on RC's so this lipo forum stuff has been on the back burner. [:D]

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
I was wondering how many turns off of full tighten down you are adjusting your slipper clutch for 2s or 3s running? I have put about 6 packs on my e revo and took apart the tranny to take a look and my slipper pad seems to be wearing down quick, plus want to know this so i don't go striping my diffs.

Yea just got mine today and i tore the front and rear apart and added some more diff lube to insure my diffs are oiled up!! They didnt have much on them but i sher changed that with a tube of sil-glide. Its for o-rings and stuff but works great in diffs. Ill get some youtube videos up and some pics on RCU. youtube user name is "slice259" [:D] P.S this thing halls on the stock battery, and knowing i have a 3s just waiting for this thing is crazy. Just waiting for it to break in first.

RE: NEW REVO
Ya just did and i have to say i like my revo 3.3 #5308 alot more due to FOC and so many more things. I think traxxas made this truck for bashers and not so much racers. Its more prolonging their products without making anything to new. Traxxas

RE: 1/16 e revo vxl diff durablity?
True, i am just scared to buy one and be worried about the diffs!! My cousin just got one and i drove it for a couple packs and to tell ya the truth its really fast stock!! Its keeping up with my race Revo 3.3. So i don't see the need to go over 2s or stock. What where you saying dacaur about taller gearing will prolong the diffs, but don't you need to worry about over heating issues when doing so?? When I buy one I am going to take it apart before i run it and use sil-glide on the diffs. I have used it on my race revo 3.3 and it keeps the diffs in great shape.

RE: how do i remove tire glue off tires?
You have to cook them for a while to get them off. I dyed my Revo 3.3 rims black and that was a long process!! Good luck [:D] ow P.S get lots of super glue to put them back on lol!!

RE: NEW TRAXXAS BIG-BLOCK AND TRUCKS
Well my revo 3.3 is running awsome!! I have TKO ceramics in the motor and that little 3.3 is a great motor. I have been running nitros for 9 years and have the ability to tune a nitro where most of these kids buying nitro dont have a clue to what they are doing. As long as traxxas beefs things up and people stop jumping there house's they should hold up fine. My first nitro was the tmaxx pro .15 and ran that for many years and put a 3.3 on that and she was a fast little truck. Held up fine also. As long as you take care off them and treat them well they will last a good while. [:D]
