hey quigleywins ..... yes its been awhile . but theres still hope . thet butterfly has been ready for a long time , never got out there for maiden flight due to family matters . every thing is ok now i am breaking in the motor the last couple of days , seems like ready to go . i hope things are good with you . i know i havent been visiting the site often . i will keep you posted on when the butterfly makes it in the air, i hope soon, weather permitting oh i am working on a pete n poke kit for the winter so that keeping me busy at home wll see you at the forum thanks shoes 53

hey that sounds good paul i will look for some of your repair photos , so when i crash mine i will have some referance, didnt evan get a chance to fly mine yet the weather here is in the 60s but the wind is strong usually on my day off . i keek you posted .... thanks russell

hey ... that gps idea sounds great . here a short story when i had my maiden flight oh about 30 yrs with a golberg eagelet some one had turned on there radio while i was in the air same frequency ... welll lost the plane , three weeks later the local hobby shop i had visited had my plane hanging up for sale , i didnt have my name in inside the plane so i describe the servo ini it , the shop let me buy it back for 25 bucks there was no damage to it at all ..... the shop told me some 10 yr old brought it to them and they gave him 25bucks . lol.... oh windy and rain here in the windy city no flying for a couple have fun... shoes 53

thanks for the compliment quigleywins ya not finished yet, need motor gas tank , radio , soon as i receive the radio in the next few days ,it shouldnt take long from there . hoping to br fllying in a week ,weather permitting this is chicago warm today maybe snow tomorrow , i hope not, lol thanks.. shoes53

hello also new to the forum i have my butterfly built ... my question is i dont see these 2 screws that on any of the pictures . in the forum. these are the 2 screws on the plan that shows the wings leading edge, that keeps the wings from coming apart they are held on with a couple on bands ,,,,, wondering if these screws are on the inside where not visable , or are they optional thanks

i would like to know how or what i need to do or buy to change my radio system 24 ghz lactic tx440 which was for electric flight with esc and 3cell batt . i want to use on a new plane required for a os max 15 how do i fire up the servos wiithout the esc and the 3 cell batt . i was told i would need another receiver , dont know how this is done new to nitro would appreciate the info

i have a nexstar ep mini plane came with the lipo battery and electrifly 3 cell 11.1v balancer charger the battery is a supre tigre 1250mah 11.1v 15c14wh this has been a nightmere tower hobbies has sent me 3 batts and 3chrg my first flight was on a fully charge batt for 2mins took it back to the car to recharge and the chgr did not reconize the battery green -red flashing error tomake this short i was sent 3 new batt from tower hob and chrgs same problem . the local hobbie shop read the batt and told me i have dead cell . i do not have a good chrger cant afford now . can someone help me , am i doing something wrong here? are these junk batterys. i am a beginner to the hobbie and like to join the ama but off to a bad start. i have a gas flyer in reserve but like to learn first on the nexstar electric . thanks russell
