I was really looking for more of a ready to sail, possibly with a Fiberglass hull but I will keep that one in mind as a consideration.

looking for 1m or close to it sail boat?
I am looking for a sailboat close to the same size or bigger (1m) than the Fairwind III and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on boats of that size, I am a beginner to intermediate sailor (I have sailed the aquacraft paradise quite a few times) but a buddy of mine just got the Fairwind 3 and I was looking for something of a similar size I was thinking about the ENTZ 1 meter but was wondering what anyone on here thought might be a better boat for me.

RE: Radline rc 1/24
the stock motor on the elite series is actually pretty quick if you remove the resistors from the leads on the motor, actually I think all the optional motors that you can get at target have the resistors on them. just food for thought. I am actually thinking about putting a brushless in it. [>:] but the modded motors are not too bad

RE: Hyper 21 8 port...good engine?
I used to run the hyper 8 port race on my hyper 7 and it I will say that I personally did not like the three needle carb and a friend of mine gave me a os carb that fit it and it ran awesome I never had any tuning issues with it at all and it had no bottom end power issues that I ever noticed. anyways just my two cents

RE: surmount 800?
thank you for the post, it was very informative but then again it wasnt. I guess I will wait till someone does a review of the boat and go from there. but I am still interested in this boat. I have sailed a paradise but was looking for somthing close to the 1 meter size that will sail at least as good as the paradise. but I am still learning to sail and want somthing that I can learn more with as the paradise can not handle as much wind as the bigger boats will.

RE: Pro Boat Mini-V EP RTR
I have been running mine stock and I have put about 5 or 6 batteries thru it and it is running great, no problems at all. I did have to lube the driveshaft but other than that no worries. it is also just as fast as my sw26 that I just bought. I guess you just got a bad one or somthing.
