New Extras
I have two new Extras. One for .049/ .061 and the other slightly larger for a .10 although I know someone will put a .15 on the nose. Both would easily convert to equivalent E power' Email for info on the few Beta kits.

Hi Scott... Welcome to the Fold of The Enlightened. How do you feel about making your model from just the plans. The problem with a kit not made in Australia is the postage to get it there. To send a single kit to Aus. from USA that is over 61cm long and under 1 pound in weight costs a lot, $34..... A two pound package = $38.10, and these are uninsured prices. Under 61cm is less than 1/2 the cost.

Flight report. Pee Wee. The Pee Wee ran like a champ on the bench but had a P Weak day at the Field. Wouldn't get up on the step but flew fine. CG needs to come forward a tad. TD .020. Oh Boy.... Hang on.. A rocket. TD .010 With a slightly rich run and the ballast on the nose to counteract the lighter engine took it over the .010's gross. Flew ok when it got on the step though. 250 size round engine. Almost as scarey as the .020 but with a throttle. 3s 800mah battery put it at 8.2 oz. Tad too much for 110 sq in. although 6.25 oz / sq ft should work.

It's meant to fly slow not like a F-15 ... Even the Sure start has twice the power it should have. Originally designed for a PAW 55.

Was it recent? If so I am thinking Flying Models. FM is the only Rag now that has any content for us diehards that roll our own. My interest is because the paint I have been using for years to "dust" the glue side for some colour has had it's formula changed for our benefit. Now it doesn't work, it Flakes and does not meld with the glue to seal the edges so good.
