RE: RE:
Okay that clears some things up for me. The plane comes with a 55 amp ESC so doubled it can handle 110 a. According to an earlier post the zippy 4000/25C (100a) will work good in the plane for both the w/b and output. I would also like to try a 3600/30C (108a) and a 3300/35C (115a). The extra 5a won't cook anything will it?

horizontal stab warp
I've got an EDF foam glider and from storage or something the stabilizer has a little downward pitch at the tips. Does anyone know a way to take out the slight down bend of the stabilizers? I was thinking that I'll have to channel out a grove to glue in a piece of carbon fiber. Does this sound like the right thing to do or is there an easier way? Thanks, Sam

I'm going to fly a new type of plane at full throttle most of the time. Is it better to have a higher or lower C rating (ie: 25 C or 35 C)

RE: Futaba 6EX... am I doing something wrong?
Tried reversing the throttle channel on the TX and it still didn't cure it. No motor control at all. Only the rudder works properly, and the # 3 Throt ch contols the elevator . I think I might have seriously screwed up the programming on the radio and I don't know how to correct it. Do you know if i can reset the radio to the original default? Thanks, Sam

LiPo storage
Hi all, I'm back to Iraq and I have a question about storing my LiPo's. Am using an Accucell 6 charger that has a storage charge feature with the option to charge from .1 amp to 1.0 amps. The batteries I want to store are 1800 and 2200 MaH batteries. So what amp do I charge them at?

I need a $200.00 Tx/RX
Wanting to get a new 2.4 G Tx /Rx for around $200 I narrowed it down to Futaba 6EXi or the Spektrum DX6mx I'm sure they're both good radios and will work fine for what I need. But is one notoriously better than the other? Is one more cofortable? Does one feel more "cheesier" than the other?

RE: ?'s about balance charging
Just to clarify.....I only know the voltage of each cell because the Turigy will show me. And there is no way I can individually charge the middle cell. I also checked the charger with a newer battery and that worked fine with all 3 cells. It all points to a bad cell. Just wondering if it's salvageable?

RE: ?'s about balance charging
Thanks for your inputs. More questions - Can I still fly the plane with it (expecting a reduced flt time) or would it possibly mess up the ESC or pose a safety risk while flying the plane or while charging? I did try running the batteries down and then re-balcance charging them but had the same results. Would discharging them from the charger help at all?

RE: ?'s about balance charging
Hello Tom and thanks for the reply. The charger I am using is the Turnigy Accucell 6 and the batteries are a Turnigy 1800 and a FlightMax 2200. While charging they both show a reduced middle cell voltage. To answer your question - yes, I did set it to the "Balance" charge setting on the charger and also had the balance plug on the battery plugged into the charger port.
