RE: Making Parts From Kit Instructions?
Most kits have the full size plans with the kits. While they usually don't show every part full size with some imagination they can usually be duplicated. Some builders will draw an out line of the parts not included on the plans just in case down the line they want to build another one from the plans or need to repair the plane after a crash. skeeter

Didn't M.A.N. or RCM have a free plan in one of their mags awhile back of the small hots plane for electric power. It was one of those pull out ones with a very small wing span. I know i have it around here somewhere in my boxes just not sure where. skeeter

Need to fix warped rudder and vert stab.
I have a warpage problem with my rudder and vert stab. As you can see in the video i was hoping to epoxy in a carbon fiber rod helping it to stay straight. Do you think this can work or do you have any other ideas that might be better? skeeter

RE: Cutting straight 90deg edges to make sheets
I like this method of match cutting balsa sheets. No need to have a perfectly straight cut or at a perfect 90 degree angle. Slight wavyness or angle changes in the cut doesn't matter. Try it! skeeter

RE: Anyone use the Incidence meter app for android or iphones
I believe it would work easily for flat surfaces like the horizontal stabilizer but some type of fixture like the robart incidence meter has would be needed for the wing. At 5 ounces i don't think it would be to heavy. skeeter

Anyone use the Incidence meter app for android or iphones
I downloaded the XClinometer app for my android phone. It seems pretty accurate and the angles it gives are very repeatable, meaning every time i check the same surface the reading is the same down to a 1/10th of a degree. Has anyone used this for an incidence meter. Perhaps make an adapter to used on wings. Does anyone have any idea how to do that? skeeter

Free P-51 M.A.N plans construction article
Hello to all, I have the free plans that came in the M.A.N. magazine for the P-51 a few years back. It's a 1/12 scale by Tom Stryker. Was there ever a construction article to go along with it? It looks like a fairly simple build but would like an article to go with it to help along with the build. Anyone here build one? skeeter

RE: Looking for plans for an HU-16 Albatross
G&P sales website shows a 81" Albatross. Way to big for a couple .30 four strokes to haul around and it only comes as a kit not plans. Maybe someone that has plans for a larger one i could downsize. I was thinkiing 55" would be a good size. What do ya think? skeeter

Looking for plans for an HU-16 Albatross
I just aquired two almost new Magnum XL .30 four stroke engines for free. I would like to build an Albatross to fit these engines on. What size would be good for those engines and who sells plans for it? I would perfer wood builtup plans but might explore foam. skeeter

Here's another fine DR-1 whose owners name i did not get. I'm really going to have to get an assistant to help with all the paper work. If anyone knows who the pilot/builder/owner is please post it.

Here is a plane that needs no introduction.......................The DR1. Whoops i guess that was an introduction. It is probably the most widely recognized plane of World War 1. The famous Red Baron made the plane legendary. The first pictures are Duane Neese's fine example of what a DR1 should look like.

Dawn Patrol over Gilman Springs WW1 2012 (lots of cool pics)
Well, the weekend is over and i must say I still feel the sun burn on the top of my head, especially on my bold spot. I spent alot of time on Saturday standing out in the sun getting a pot full of pictures and video to share of the WW1 Dawn Patrol fly-in at Gilman Springs RC Club. I forgot to take a hat and i'm regretting it now. I have over 400 pictures and alot of video time. I am a pretty newbie to editing video so i'll work the in as i can. So without further ado here are the some of the pictures i took and more will follow as i get time to post them.
