Good luck on your quest, the Staggerwing was an ARF. There were no plans available unless someone drew them up on their own Skipb

Jim- You are correct, leave the fuel tank as it is. It will work fine. The manual does mention this mod for the 160 twin on that page. Skip

RE: Top Flite Staggerwing
Isn't this where the mod is for using the 160 twin? On it the carb sits very low and the fuel tank does have to be moved to the bottom of the fuselage so it won't siphon fuel out. Skipb

mudboger07- 14x8 is not enough load on the engine, stay with 15x8 check valve clearances and run 20%nitro fuel, have, run many with this set up and they love it. Skipb

Flyboy0608- That is an old free flight trick (prop on backwards) too keep the airplane flying slow to figure out what trims are needed. Skipb

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft
I am on my 3rd season with my T'craft powered by an OS 160 twin and mine flies absolutely gorgeous. I can fly it scale or hot dog within reason with no nose high tendencies; balance is 1/8 behind recommended, Xoar 18x6 prop, 8000 rpm and it is fun. Skipb

RE: WACO YMF
The Cline unit bears no resemblance to this one. It works with both muffler or crankcase pressure; if using the Cline on crankcase pressure you need to install a one way valve to keep tank pressurized. Skipb

Go to a craft store, ask for silver elastic cord, and buy at least three packages of it. As for how to install and use it download from Tower's site the instruction manual for the Super Stearman. IT is very helpful. Skipb

In actuality you are assembling an ARF not building it. As they say whatever makes your tree bark, if it works for you then it is good. Not bashing, just stating the obvious. Skipb
