12+2 Channels will not made 8FG to 12FG. I own 12FG and my friend has 8FG. It's big difference in functionality.

Maybe 14MZ, 12Z, 12FG will become update for 16 channels. It's been confirmed that 8FG will become update for 12+2 channels.

RE: New Hitec Aurora 9-Channel 2.4Ghz Radio System
One question for HITEC stuff. Will it be possible to select STICK MODE 4 in menu. If i buy MODE 2 then it should be simple to change to mode4. Only ailerons and rudder are changed. Please make that function in software. Here in europe futaba, graupner, multiplex have that function in their transmiters.

RE: Futaba 6014 heat failure (crash)
102 F is very low I have measured on my 608FS temperature of the receiver box 113 F. So that means that chip was mutch higher temperature. I had this receiver near the 80A regulator and near the battery. Small plane and no space. And i have no problem at 113 F. I will open the box tomorrow and move several digital servos and see how CPU temperature rise. I will measure temperature with IR thermomether.

RE: Futaba 6014 heat failure (crash)
Maybe it could help if we glue small heat sink to processor ? did someone try this. We use 6014 receivers in large planes. I don't think 10 grams will mather if we add heat sink. [image]http://www.v2conference.com/shower-cabinet/images/Aluminum%20Profile-s002/Heat_Sink_Profiles.jpg[/image]

RE: Futaba 6014 heat failure (crash)
You are right. I have also problem with graupner (JR) 5077 servos. When i turn on the transmitter servos go to the one side and then jump back. This is not big problem for me, because my servos don't go over limit. But may be problem in some planes when servo go over limit. Futaba really need to fix that. I will be happy to send back my receivers to be fixed for that. Futaba have great system, but they should improve it to be perfect system.

RE: Futaba 6014 heat failure (crash)
Are you sure it was heat problem ? Did you measuse heat of the receiver. I really don't know how could receiver get so hot in the plane when you are flying. In my pilon racer i have receiver near 80A regulator and battery and max. temperature that i have measured was 40C "104F" on the receiver. On my large planes i have a lot of space and my receiver is not even warm. I know they have heat problem and they should fix that. But here max. outside temperature when i fly is 30C so i think i will be ok. Until i crash :(

Thank you for help. I will play with mix next week. You are the first person to find the problem. I have checked and measured whole plane a few times and nothing was found.

RE: Problem with H9 Showtime 4D 90
You are right. I have trimmed my fly at almost full speed. And i fly as high as i can. Then go straight down without throttle. My plane will rotate slowly at the way i have trimmed it. So that means that i have too powerfull engine ?

Problem with H9 Showtime 4D 90
I have showtime 4D 90 with OS 120AX motor. It fly great. But i have one problem. I always need to trim ailerons to the left. If i have straight then my plane will always spin to the right. "Make rolls" It will not spin very fast, but you can not fly like that. What should i check. Should i check angle of motor. Or anything else. I really don't know. I have checked a lot of things. And everything is straight or have the same angle on left and right side.

RE: 12FG failed v1.6 firmware update
It happened exactly the same to me. My 12FG failed to update from 1.3 to 1.5 . I have send it to futaba service. And after 2 weeks i got it back. They flashed it for free.

RE: 12FG and Z.....vs...14Z
Changes in 1.6 from 1.5 is small bug fix when u change module from example 35 Mhz to 40 Mhz here in europe. I think that in 1.5 there was an error message and you could not change that. Nothing big was changed, only this bug was fixed.

12FG Support MPDX-1 Multi-Proportional System Decoder from version 1.5 now I own 12FG and is great. That comparision chart on futaba site is old. You have to check all updates and then you will know what all you have.

12FG: When change tail type i loose all mixes ...
Hy. I have a 12FG and when i change for example TAIL type from ailevator to normal tail i loose all settings for mixes and conditions on that model. Is there any way to avoid loosing mixes when i want to change tail type? I have configure my acrobat with all stuff. And now i want to copy that settings to new model. But that model use only 1 servo for elevator. And when i change tail type i loose settings. I really don't want to setup all over again.

You will always find some people that will mess with results. I have never seen 10C, but i have seen 9C and i own 12FG. And i am happy with futabas. I also have graupner/jr radio. But my futaba 12FG beat Jr radio.
