RE: How do I reverse a servo travel direction
They were the left and right servos. I had to move the link in one hole and they are pretty darn close. I have not test flown yet.

RE: How do I reverse a servo travel direction
Nope, the servo mounts so the arm stick out the bottom. I found another servo that was reversed so now I think I can go fly some more.

How do I reverse a servo travel direction
How can you reverse the servo direction on a servo? Can you just change the plug lead wires around or do you have to go into the motor and change wiring? I am hooking up some aileron servos and need one reversed. It is a EDF micro so there really is not enough room for a servo reverser.

Max Volts for Brushed motors
Hi, I just bought a old Kyosho boat with a brushed speedgem 17T motor in it. I am going to replace the micro on/off switch for the motor with a ESC. I fly airplanes and was thinking about just using my 3C 11.1v lipos in the boat. A friend told me that the 11.1v thru the esc would burn the motor up. So with that said, what would be the max volts I could use with the motor without damaging it? The previous owner said I could double up a 7.2 nicad pack to put out 14v using the micro switch, true????? I also have the original Kyosho AquaSpeed Maarine 18 for it. Thanks for your help.

Kyosho Wave Runner
I have a old Kyosho Wave Runner. Does anyone remember this boat? I would like to find a manual and a source for parts. The boat is about 36 inches long and runs on a single motor coupled to a gearbox. Has steerable outdrive. Thanks

replacement for 540 motor???
I have a old RC boat, 19 inches and I am pretty sure a 540 brushed motor. The motor dimensions are Diameter=36mm, length=52mm and a 3.17mm or 1/8 inch shaft. I am not familiar with the conversions for the motors descriptions that are out there. The boat runs on 7.2v and has the old reostat type speed control. I am sure the motor is burned out and the speed controller is almost junk. I woud like to replace both with original type equipment. So, anyone have or know where I might find the motor and maybe the speed controller and just what motor should I be looking at with what specs? I don`t really want to convert to brushless, that would cost probably more that the boat is worth. I was thinking I should be able to find a motor for like $10 or so. What do you guys advise? Thanks,

RE: reostat type speed controller help
Thanks for the invite Ron. I am a airplane guy. I picked the boat up on a whim. I paid under $50 for the boat and radio. There are a few guys in the airplane club that run boats also. They have a pond somewhere they use. And that is one reason I have not really been into boats, where to run them. I had a chance to pick up 18 powered hydro but after viewing a video I decided it just took up too much room. What would I do, just do a search for brushed speed controller/

reostat type speed controller help
I picked up an old electric boat that has the sliding reostat type speed controller that works of the servo. It only will run the motor in forward and does not seem to kick in at a very low speed. It will also not run in reverse. I have check and cleaned all the contacts. Could the coil thing be bad? Anyone know where I could find a new or good working used one? The boat is an old Playtron Candy running a 7.2v Nicad. Thanks

The best of show was open to all. It was not on the flyer because the decission to give the award was not made until after the printing. I had to leave before the judging. All I know is that the winning plane was a Cessna 182 (?). I will try and get more info on it, he was from another club.

RE: Kalamazoo Swap Meet on Saturday Feb 18
Just a short report on our Swap Meet. The event sold out as far as tables. We had about 500 people come in the door. $100 was awarded to the best of show display model and 2 Air Swimmers were given away as door prizes plus 3 slow flyers and other stuff. The weather was very nice for February and everyone I talked to expressed great satisfaction with the show and sales. All enjoyed the indoor flying demos and the RC tanks. Here are a few pictures from the show.
