there is gonna be a little play, and its normal.. there is alot of vibration on a car when its running you need somewhere for that vibration to dissipate.. Also keep your wheels balanced help keep your car tighter

RE: What should I expect from the Go Tech 3 Port Race Turbo?
ORIGINAL: vnmsgt
ORIGINAL: HerrSavage I think there is a difference between the old Go's and the new. They have improved things. I hear no question predominantly positive things about the new 3, 5, and 7-port turbo 21's, as well as the 25. I did a lot of research, and was convinced it'd be a worthwhile investment. So far so good.. Lots of people have the 5-port in truggies here in Germany, and even more the 25, and the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. And who want to replace VSPEC bearings after a gallon?.....
Who wants to replace a V-spec after a gallon..... lol. Seen too many of that too. All the current Go's from late 2008-2009 have no problems at all. That is all I run. I have a 3 port, 7 port and a Caster Grenade 5 port. All have the original carbs too. Too many people hear about a carb problem and just because they have a tough tuning day they blame the carb and then blow out all out or proportion all over the net. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE CARBS. Just a lame excuse. The carbs are sensitive is all and where you normally would tune a carb by turning a HSN 2 hours either way you might have to tune the GO probably a 1/2-1 turn. SIMPLE. The GO 3-port Race motor will give you V-spec like performance at alot less price and last about just as long.
Hey V, I saw you out in Daytona the other weekend for the club race, sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello. What happened with that steering servo?

RE: Some Of My Photography + SLR Thread
just gotta balance your white/black, Shooting in the shadows, into open light, it will over expose the area thats not in the focus field, you could try to do some minor hdr. Nice shots though, I like the heel flip over the gap. Gaps always got into my head always afraid to come short and have the back trucks catch and face plant

RE: Thunder tiger s3, anyone know anything?
I own an S3.. its nothing like the AE buggy. Its one of the tougher buggies around, Ryan won a international series with it a few years back. Things to change on the buggy from stock though. Shock towers chassis The shock towers will bend first couple upside down crashes.. The chassis is good for euro style tracks with very few jumps.. but in the states you will want to get the extended flat chassis.

RE: Orange Mach 427 vs Grey Mach 427
ORIGINAL: Dirtdigger04 Hey, i might buy a new Mach 427 to replace my worn sportwerks .26. I have heard there are two versions. One has the Orange head, and one has the Grey head. I have heard these engines are different somehow. What is difference between these two engines besides the head color. Thank You
lol, The yellow/gold head is for side mounted engine, the teal is for a foward mounted engine. Other then that they are the same engine. If you look at the head you will see a pass through the middle of the head, and on the yellow/gold head its through the side of the head, and on the teal its straight through the head.

RE: Street Fighter 4 on PS3...
ORIGINAL: Foxy ... I just beat the arcade mode on hardest with Ken. Trouble is I was basically using the same techniques I used to use on the Super Nintendo on the original Street Fighter 2 World Warriors, then Turbo, then Hyper Fighting, blah blah. I still have a lot to learn about the new stuff. I won without focus punching or even counters. Used a good few Ultra combos though. Ken's UC is one of the best. [>:] There's a sick vid on youtube of all the ultra combos one after the other. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xyuX7u-Xts Does anyone else play?
I play it for the 360.. and all I can say is my god how did you beat it.. I get my butt handed to me on medium..

RE: MMO's admit it you play one
Thats what makes EVE superior to other MMOs, First off, no Elves and Orcs. You don't have to grind to level, You train skills even when off-line Its a space MMO, Its entire player base plays on 1 server. A total free form universe were players decide what is done and how it is run, PLayers form huge alliances that actually setup and control areas of space. Players setup and maintain stations. Huge fleet battles of 600+ ships or small roaming gangs of 5 people whatever you want. A totally player controlled market. Right now my corp is working on putting up a station in a wormhole we found. Another fun thing is the huge risk and reward. You take a 150mil ship into battle and could lose it in seconds or last the battle. The game is so massive and complex it seriously takes almost a year just get an understanding of the games whole.. and even then there will be things that you don't know or continue to learn years later. Another great thing is that ever 6 months they do addons for FREE eve-online.com Right now its free for 30 days with no CC required for the free 30days

RE: RCU Dieing?
ORIGINAL: DaveG55 Honestly, it doesn't seem that different to me. The only thing that has really changed is the people. There's a new group on right now. But that's not really new either. The turnover seems to be six months or so. We'll get a group that is on a lot and after a while you notice that they are gone and there's a whole new set of people hanging around. I can probably count on two hands the number of people who have been on as long, or longer than I have who still frequent the site. I think there are still a lot of knowledgeable, experienced people on the site. Unfortunatly I think that many of them, like me, are tired of trying to help people only to be attacked by people who obviously know less than they think they do. Besides, a lot of the activity on the site is cyclical. We're coming off of winter - spring starts tomorrow - and people are getting more active and so are not devoting as much time to typing about their rc's, they're out rc'ing and doing everything else better weather allows. Anyway, I don't think RCU is dying and I intend to hang around for a while longer, helping people as I can. And when it finallly gets to be too much, or my interests move on, then I'll just quietly fade away, no long, dramatic good by letter for me. And in six months no one will recognise my name if I decide to check back in. That's just how internet fourms are...
*Cheers Dave*

RE: Is it normal for these engines to be difficult until up to temp?
ORIGINAL: JoeyCoates I just got a LST XXL with the 454 engine last thursday and as of right now I have about half of a gallon through it. It is pretty tuned in now once it warms up (maybe 10 tanks through it) and was broken in through heat cycling and then some easy driving with brief bursts of full throttle working up through several tanks. By the way I have flow planes/heli's for over 23 years so I do have a good deal of glow experience, first car engine though. Anyway, the engine runs very well and very strong once up to temps, but when first started is loads up a lot until it does get to temp. The low speed is set 1/8 richer then what the manual says to start with, but if I set it leaner it starts to "zing" at idle. The top end is about 1/8 leaned out and it makes great smoke when running and it runs right around 230-240 according to the on board telemetry. This is using Blue Thunder 20%. The outside temp was 75+ today. My question is will the engine level out with more time? It is stupid rich when I first start it up and I have to drive it around (have to ease into it to and work up with "stabs" to begin with or it dies) and then once the temp gets to around 165 it starts to level out. Hopefully it will get right with time, I just have never had this kind of a cold blooded personality with any of my air engines, they may need to warm up a bit before takeoff but they do not have to get up to anywhaere near 165 to start behaving right. Maybe I just have the tuning off, but once warmed up it runs from a dead idle with no hesitation at all, just rips off. Puts out a brief puff of smoke and then continues but not excessivly, any leaner and temps go up to 250-260. The pinch is still good and it has teriffic compression when hot. It is just killing me as I am chasing the needles, if I set it up when cold engine temps I have to adjust for hot and vice/versa. Thanks
Problem with 28s is that it takes a half a tank for them to warm up and by then u got 3 mins of run time left. Save your engine and the hassle by heating the engine up before you start with a heat gun, 19 bucks from lowes or home depot in the painting section

RE: rechargeible batt's in controllers
ORIGINAL: chris246810 Hello anyone using rechargeible batteries in their controllers? if so what kind are you using? are they better then using regular batteries laster longer then regular batteries?
Rechargeables never seem to last as long as regular batteries, I use rayovac batteries.. super cheap think its 10 bucks for 30 of them, they last almost 3 times as long as rechargeables.
