RE: Pulse XT 60 with a Saito 125 Anyone?
I fly my Pulse 60 with an inverted Satio 100, yes way more power than it needs, but then you don't have to push your left thumb all the way to the top either. But ........ when you do its vertical forever :) Sled

RE: *New Hanger 9 Pulse XT 60*
you can think of, short of 3D. Or, you can throttle it back and its just as happy flying as a Sunday flyer. sled

RE: Ultrsport 60 and Retracts
MinnFlyer: You are most likely correct oh ....... Ultra Sport master [:D]. These reacts are out of the new Hanger 9, Blue Nose P51, the servos are designed to mount directly to the extended part of the retact frame, making the linkage exteremly short. But you knew that all ready[sm=49_49.gif] Great suggestion, I'll have to look into that setup on my US60. Thanks Sled

RE: Ultrsport 60 and Retracts
Eganwp: I'am also building a US60. The Hanger 9 Retact Gear you found will fit nicely in the wing. The JR Sport retact servo RT88 is about $25 here in the great white north. The retacts seem well designed, and the spring load struts with trailing link are heavey duty, so for about $70 a wing I should have a nice retact setup. Just make sure you follow MinnFlyers suggestion & move the retacts out one bay. Heres a couple of picks of my trail retact setup. [:)]

RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*
Mike: I'am a newbie to this hobby, and always looking for good products at a good price. However, does Airtronics ship any products north of the U.S. border? I have been trying to locate an RDS8000 in southern Ontario for a couple of weeks. Even Action Hobbies, listed on the Aitronics web page for Ontario does not have them. The usual response I get to this inquiry is "we don't stock'em but we can get them" followed by..... a slight cringe and "Airtronics .... why would you want Airtronics" and last but not least, "I don't know about their service & support, you might reconsider" I got the same type of response at the local flying club when I asked about this radio, with the addition of "we don't even have a buddybox for one of those". I don't know the history of Airtronics in Canada, but it appears that Airtronics has not been a player here for some time. So long in fact they have faded from memory, or just died off. Please understand I'm not trying to flame anyone here, or start an international confrontation. I've done my research, crunched the numbers, and I like this radio! I want to buy this radio! I like the value of this radio, Sure I could buy it from a U.S. distributor, then add on exchange rate, excesive shipping charges & brokerage fee's. In the end I could just buy a Futaba 7C 2.4Ghz, or a Spektrum DX 7 for about the same money from any local hobby shop and they would be more than happy, that they don't have to order an Airtronics RDS8000 for some crazy new to the sport Canuck. Whats a newbie to do.
