might be geared too low, go up a bit and see if that makes it better

RE: Do Chicks Dig Radio Control Model Cars?
the young lady is reducing her own value by taking a job as "eye candy" regardless of how much she's paid, she's not being paid for her intelligence the quality of the eye candy, will be determined by the budget of the people paying her salary if the young lady wants my respect, tell her to get a job that requires more talent than just being young and having a plastic surgery budget.

RE: Cheap to fix, durable, fun basher?
they're basically the same truck, but the ruckus will be able to run in more places with its larger tires and bigger ground clearance it's surprising how small ruts and rocks can be that will hang up a stadium truck/short course/buggy if you just plan on running in parking lots, the stadium trucks are great, but if you're going off road (and not on a groomed track) the monster truck will work better

the ruckus has better ground clearance than other options in the price range, that's a good thing

RE: Will i make my money back out of it?
I would think you either have to sell as a roller or RTR without an ESC you may as well toss the motor in the garbage bin too (because a smart buyer will know if you fried your ESC, your motor is probably also shot or close to shot) selling a broken RC is harder than selling a working one.

RE: Is this a scam?
how would that even work as a scam? ebay is so buyer friendly you can get your money back even if they send you the perfect item, so if they send you something jacked up it should be even easier to get your money back right? would the seller just send an empty package and expect the proof of delivery to show it was good?

RE: To Stampede or not to Stampede, that is the question.
but wouldn't you have more control in training mode? I mean, who cares about speed right? the same reason you prefer full speed over training mode, that's why a faster RC is more fun.

RE: To Stampede or not to Stampede, that is the question.
ORIGINAL: electricrc68 well i really don't care about speed. as long as i can control it, its fast enough.
so do you prefer your bandit in training mode or regular mode? being 2wd, I'd think training mode (50% power) would be more controllable

when you switch it, you're moving the trigger you either need to leave it, or re-trim the channel, or re calibrate the ESC if you want to run 70/30

define good but the answer is likely no, when you can get a new brushed motor for $20 or a brushless motor for not much more than that.. there's not much reason to get a serviceable motor

RE: traxxas slash 2wd or duratrax evader dt
the 50/50 or 70/30 on traxxas radios has nothing to do with steering you either have 50% of the trigger's movement range for forward, 50% for reverse/brake or on 70/30 70% of the triggers range is for forward, 30% for reverse/brake when you move the switch on the radio you can see the trigger's center position move (at least on the AM versions you can) it's got nothing to do with steering, unless you're talking about something else and we're miscommunicating here
