trx pro .15 need a little advice
i just bought a cheap nitro rustler it is completely stock and it has the ez start system on it. i am not a noob. i have had quite a few nitro cars. it has just been a while since i have messed with them. the engine cranks but will not turn over. i checked the glow plug and whenenver i crank and hold it to the exhaust it wil glow. i am not too familiar with the ez start system. the car is in pretty rough shape so i was thinking maybe the slipper clutch but i am not sure any advice would be appreciated. i dont know for sure where to start/ i checked the needles and they are at factory settings. i thought it would atleast turn over so i could see what i need to do to them.

Rossi .40?
My stepdads cousin has a rossi .40 engine. I know how to fly. I have flown a couple of different types of planes. My trainer being my favorite one to fly. I have been thinking about buying this engine from him. He said he would sell it to me for $50. Is it worth it? I am wanting to design my own plane and slap it on it. I am wanting an engine that I can get going FAST. My fellow club members do not like me much as it is so I am wanting something that will be so fast it is irritating while they are flying... lol. Thanks

Help Upgrading Traxxas Blast
I was given a stock traxxas blast a while back and since I have gotten rid of all my other rcs except the blast I plan on upgrading it to make it a lot faster. I have a Novak duster sport II esc, and I plan on buying a motor for it. I have read posts about direct drive being slow when using car motors but if it is any faster than stock I really dont care. I am not worried about tearing up drivelines I will replace it when needed. I just want something that will fly across the water almost uncontrollably. Also I have to buy a steering servo for it does anyone have any opinions? I dont want to spend a lot because it is hardly used. Thanks

I just sold the one I had. I never bought hop-ups but as far as getting parts for it I ordered straight from kyosho. You can use Inferno parts on it so maybe check on their website.

Okay I am not understanding what your problem is. Is it the pull start not grabbing or the piston not even moving?

RE: Hotbodies lightning buggy
No, what are you thinking? Everyone wants OFNA.... even though Hot Bodies is such a better brand. I have the lightning 2rr. It is awesome. I have never seen a buggy that was this well built and designed. It is one piece of work, it will take a beating and come back for more.... I also have a Kyosho Mp777 7.5 sport. It isnt as well built it seems more cheaply made to me. It was only 50$ cheaper than the Hot Bodies. Hobby shops dont really carry their parts because more of them only like traxxas and you know why, because traxxas makes there cars to break.

here is another option a Hot Bodies Lightning RR2. It is like $439USD. I have one and I am 16 and kind of a noob to nitro. I can keep it tuned and running fine!

I FOUND WHAT I WAS FINALLY LOOKING FOR!!!
I just thought I would let everyone know that is looking at 1/8th scale buggies... I have had nitro vehicles in the past such as a REVO and NTC3 w/ .12 tr max. They both drove me out of nitro, because of the tuning part. The OS was really good at holding a tune it was just finding it... lol. I just got a stock HB Lightning RR2 and it is so easy to tune and handle the speed it has. I have it rich and it still is fast, if I leaned it out it is too fast for me. I am getting an easy 35-40 mph and it handles it so easy. The shocks just absorb the turns.. It handles just like a touring car but yet it is so stable. I love it! It can handle the jumps and everything. I am not saying this is the best buggy or anything but it is definately better than a traxxas mt or any stock traxxas rc. I know all noobs such as me buy traxxas but I am telling you venture off. 1/8th SCALE ALL THE WAY!

If the air filter is permanently dirty. The ofna engine is a 3 needle engine so it sounds like to me you need to adjust your idle

RE: HB Lightning 2 RR
I have never been to my local track so I cannot tell you I have only seen the blue print. It looks to me though that there is one long straight and it curves around to a very technical part. Actually the guy was telling me it had a .21 engine, he said that he didnt know why they called it a .26. He also told me it was a pull start. Is it easy to get started pull starting? How would I do it correctly? I have always used ez-start or a starter box.

RE: HB Lightning 2 RR
Sweet! Well I am going to take it easy on it until I start racing. There is about 3 buggies running around here a XTM xcellerator nitro, and the others I dont really know what they are for sure, but we will have about 4 racing which is pretty good really for this small town.

RE: new car wont run and ofna wont help
I will never buy an ofna with the way there tech support sounds. I think if you jsut spent that much money on there product and it is not functioning correctly. I think it should be THEIR fault and not yours... I would read the manual for a warranty of some kind and just jump all over them on the phone.

HB Lightning 2 RR
Just came up with one of these out of a trade. I am needing some info about them though. I have read all of the post and it seems to me like everyone on here except 5 or 6 people don't even know about them. So if you are one of the ones that has never even seen the buggy dont post. I am needing to know about the .26 that is in it, how easy is it to tune compared to a Revo(last nitro truck i had)? Also as far as breaking parts I have heard that the break disks need to be adjusted? Can you give me some advice on this? Thanks

RE: Good Deal or Not?
No he said it wasnt cut down. He said he got it traded from a guy, so who knows. It has a 400 size motor on it and it comes with a battery. He also mentioned he had a 48" that he would sell for about the same price if I wanted it instead, and it is completely RTF also. Which would be a better deal? I am not too worried about flying indoors, I have decided that it doesnt much matter right now anyway because I am about to be getting out of school for summer now. Thanks. Also how fast would the 48" go compared to the 36"? And which one would be better for upgrading to make faster? And which one would be more stable in wind? Thanks

RE: ARE Electric Stampedes good
True the stampede is indestructable, but it is slow as a brick on wheels. I bought one thinking it wouldn't be too slow but is pretty slow stock. I had a emaxx first and it was pretty fast for a stock truck but the weight made it break parts like crazy. The stampede is slower and built pretty good. I havent upgraded anything because I just use it whenever I cant fly my planes, but then again I have my boats that I use whenever I get bored of the stampede to. So I am just going to flat out tell you the stock stampede gets boring pretty fast, also I wouldn't reccommend buying a used one because everyone rags the pede out. "Jumping off your garage" lol

RE: Enough Computor for G3 or Aerofly
Intel Grapics Accelerator 950- This is really going to hurt yor performance everything else looks really good but your graphics card is crap. I have a pentium 4 3.0g and a raedon 6800 pro and my gameplay over a lot of objects sometimes lags. I mean it will work, but dont expect a lot of good graphics without spending some money on a new graphics card. Hope this helped you out a little. If you do decide to get it make sure to update it to the latest version.
