RE: A good beginner boat kit?
ORIGINAL: rctugger If you like tugs, you might look at the Dumas Carol Moran...18 inches lots of detail...2 piece plastic hull...good rc characteristics. If you want an atr there is the Atlantic tug....look at some of the Alantic tug threads or search ''atlantic tug'' on this site for how folks have modified them. I have built the Dumas Coast Guard 41 and it is a bit of work to complete....dual motors, dual props, gear reduction, etc. rctugger
it says on towerhobbies that it can either be single or double screw.

A good beginner boat kit?
whats a good beginnger boat kit? I was thinking either the dumas 41' coast gaurd or the USS WhiteHall. Is either one of these easy to do for a first timer or is there someother one that is good for first timers but also that can add scale looks to it as well.

RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C.
ORIGINAL: rclugnut10 is like the wire accually thicker or just longer? hmm if its longer, that could explain your power issues because the wire may've been pulled outta the plug... the lug
when you look into the end of the tam. plug you can see that one side is bigger then the other side, im not referring to the wire length.
ORIGINAL: SacramentoJoe
Ever so often i dont have throttle but i have steerring, but on the other hand if i dont have throttle or steerring the green light on the esc will show up.
If its not the wires/plugs/connectors, it kinda sounds like the ESC. Does it reset if you turn it off and on again? Or does it reset after a few seconds?
No it doesnt reset itself at all.
