RE: New Plane
[quote]ORIGINAL: esselte that's nice! IMO, it could have been better if you started with just the supercub.. it's very easy to fly aswell. spend more time practicing and probably on sims and you're ready for other planes like eflite apprentice, trojan, [link=http://www.twift.com/cessna-skylane-channel-plane-p-66.html]cessna 182[/link] and other great challenging planes. [/quote] wow. Twift have free shipping worldwide till 11. happy 4th!!

RE: other dealer
[quote]ORIGINAL: pringlez im trying to look for other dealers of this boat <a rel=''nofollow'' target=''_blank'' href=''http://www.twift.com/monsoon-sailboat-shunbo-p-348.html''>http://www.twift.com/monsoon-sailboat-shunbo-p-348.html the other dealers i saw says MOUSOON on their sail, but this one says MONSOON which is correct. my only concern is i think it's a bit pricey. so im looking for other shops that sells but i cant find in google. [/quote] you should also consider, Victoria, Nirvana, and kyosho Seawind my friend. all are trusted and a great entry boat to the hobby.

RE: SKYARTEC WASP V3
the reason why everyone's a bit hesitant about the Wasp is because not a lot of people has piloted it thus it's hard to get any info and ideas. can't be sure if they're really good or not.

RE: Confused
i thought mentioning that i have experience with rc speedboats would kinda help. i forgot sailboats doesn't have motors and moves thru wind power. im dumping the Monsoon idea. found a better looking both, hopefully sails better, Hurricane 1000, not from the crappy makers of monsoon Shunbo.

RE: surmount 800?
just found out on the other thread about the Hurricane 1000. the guy said it sails better than century 750 and Monsoon , probably the surmount as well since Monsoons a better runner.

RE: monsoon 900
great.. looks like she's sailing ok.. oh, about the turnbuckles. jaelon have a point, isn't turnbuckles a bit overkill for the monsoon? i mean if you don't need to spend extra couple of bucks why not settle with just dowsies?

there's someone in rcgroups named roachie who made a very good modding of [link=http://www.twift.com/RC%20Toys%20&%20Hobby/Century%20750%20RC%20Sailboat%20RTS%20Kit%20(Beili).html]C750[/link]. at first he couldn't bare the sight, but then little by little he made some improvements at a very low cost.i'll try to find the link and be back in a bit.

RE: Official Hobby Zone "Super Cub" Thread
[quote]ORIGINAL: FirebirdCdr2 So i was figuring after I get the Cessna I would get the Corsair. I will be doing some really hard thinking this week before the weekend gets here. I'm not sure what I will walk out the Hobby Store with just yet. It might be a totally different plane from the three we have been talking about. And you'd think after being in the Navy the T-28 or the Corsair would be one of the planes I would be getting. [/quote] for beginners a lot of people are recommending supercub, but since you're looking for some challenge, i guess warplanes like [link=http://www.twift.com/RC%20Toys%20&%20Hobby/TW746%20Supersonic%20F3A%20-%204%20Channel%20RC%20Plane.html]Supersonic F3A[/link] or this [link=http://www.twift.com/RC%20Toys%20&%20Hobby/TW748%20F4U%20Corsair%20-%20Warplane%20RC%20Plane.html]F4U Corsair[/link] is perfect for you.. but i gotta warn you, they are a bit tricky to fly.

RE: Top Flite Cessna 182 ARF
[quote]ORIGINAL: Robtck Has anyone seen pricing info on the new Top Flite 182 ARF? I seen a full page ad for it in Model Aviation, page 94 April 2009. [/quote] not sure if you already found that one. but here's a link to Skyartec's [link=http://www.twift.com/RC%20Toys%20&%20Hobby/Cessna%20182%20Skylane%20-%204%20Channel%20RC%20Plane.html]Cessna 182[/link]

RE: cheap Skyartec Helis
i checked their website and they have about 4 skyartec helis. i think Twift.com's Wasp V3 pro is same as wasp v3 250 by skyartecusa. it's just that, the one with skyartec usa has 7ch radio.

Confused
i found this 2 Sailboat. both Monsoon 900 the other one is simply [link=http://www.twift.com/RC%20Toys%20&%20Hobby/Monsoon%20900%20II%20RC%20Sailboat%20(Shunbo).html]Monsoon 900 II[/link] and the other is [link=http://www.twift.com/RC%20Toys%20&%20Hobby/Monsoon%20900%20II%20RC%20Sailboat%20RTS%20Kit%20(Shunbo).html]Monsoon 900 II RTS kit[/link]... what's the difference? should this be good as trainer sailboat or should i settle with something cheaper. *i have a bit of experience in rc speedboat.
