RE: Rally Cars
I'm going to say the 4-tec is BAD NEWS. If you really want a rally machine, I would say get a used tc3 roller off ebay, and modify it to perform offroad. The tc3 is a good car, it just cant keep up with brand new racers like the pro4 and the TB EVO IV. My friends got one, still bone stock, but he drives it like a chicken with it's head cut off, that thing has taken more abuse than my stadium truck, and all hes had to replace it a melted diff.

RE: How do you get the bulkhead off?
If you have a tiny screwdriver or punch, you should just be able to push it out.

RE: How do you get the bulkhead off?
If you remove the front brace and look down you will see a tiny set screw in the middle of the bulkhead where the pin connects it to the chassis. You just have to back that little screw out a little and push the pin out.

RE: Sleepy's Other T4
well, there are a few problems with that... First, my evader doesn't have a chassis anymore. Secondly, I dont have a motor yet. Third, my batteries have yet to arrive. Fourth, the gears for my transmission have no home. Fifth, well four should be good enough.

I would use you Carpet Knife --- This is an example of poor grammar that will just make you look bad. and I would purchase from your company again. --- You do not really need to change it, but if this were my letter, I would say "I will definately purchase from you in the future." It kind of sounds as if you are threatening him with your business. I’m asking you to sponsor me because I have trust in your products and have heard very good things about the cars you sell. --- Good, I would elaborate on it I like that this car has new caster blocks for mounting the upper A-arm, pure aircraft quality 7075 aluminum rear hubs, that it comes with tires and wheels, the thicker and stiffer chassis and rear bottom plate, the CRC Universal Servo Mounts, and the larger D-Ring in the differential. I also like how this car has red aluminum making some parts of the car unbreakable. ---- This is a start, but it is generic and just spits back what is on their website. Be specific in how differant things would be desireable for your very specifc application. Make this more personal, why do YOU like this car better than the competition. [/quote]

RE: Servo help
You need to replace the gears inside the servo, or one of them at least. Or you could buy a nicer servo with metal gears, i often found that the standard one didnt have enough torque to turn the car, and just about any metal geared one is going to perform much better than a standard one.

I have seen people who wrap tape around the endbell and onto the wires to keep the motor clean, you just have to worry about cooling.

RE: freakin' sweet new buggy
First off, Been there Wrecked that, please try to stay within the forum rules. (flaming of rustler08) I would appreciate it and i'm sure others would too. Secondly, I just noticed that you can adjust the rear toe-in/out with a trunbuckle. Thats really cool. Also, are there any other cars that run a saddle pack thats up front? Think it has trouble keeping the rear end in place?
