RE: identify this hull?
ORIGINAL: rcguy1411 aeromarine challenger if im not mistaken
Not an Aeromarine Challenger That hull is a copy from Performance International. I can tell by the louvers on the hatch cover. A/M never offered the louvers. I've rigged a few of those hulls. Great play boat. Good race boat in the stock class.

RE: Blade SR
Thanks Rob, I'm pretty good with a stick, and thought the SR seemed alittle nicer heli. I do have friends with much larger heli's that will be with me when I give it a whirl. Thanks for your reply, I'll go back to the Blade heli site and do some more reading. Cheers,

Blade SR
Should I get this helicopter? Looking to spend 200-300 dollars on a RTF. Been flying alittle cobra infraded helicopter Gyro lite. Flew planes and run gas rc boats. But the chopper thing is pretty kool. Just looking to fly for fun. Would this make a good starter RTF Collective Pitch Electric Micro Heli. Been reading the net for info and the Blade SR looks like something I might be able to start with. Plus there are a few people that fly near me. Thanks in Advance for the advice.

RE: Campstove Fuel & Synthetic Lubricant - Best Available?
I don't post much but, If you run Coleman i.e. Latern fuel. Just run your boat up to temp 8-10 hard laps. Not allways gunna happen first time you do,but you will be able to read the plug color. Come in at full speed and KILL THE MOTOR......Pull the plug and read it. Worked great in my dirtbike days and still works today. 7oz. Amsoil Dom. 2 Campfuel. Still running G2D's from the 80's

One other to consider, I see these run in Dist.5 and 7. They are great running race boats. Follow the set-up and you got a winner. http://herzogracing.com/_sgg/m4_1.htm Nate

RE: GAS OUTBOARD guys this is our new home
Well lets see, Where do I start!!![sm=thumbup.gif] Had a chance to run the Tunnel today. We took it down to the pond and gave it it's first run.[sm=teeth_smile.gif] Little bit about the boat: Zip Kit Hull S-254 mod. by Viper racing Engine Lawless Outdrive 6717-3 S,B&P prop ride and speed where good for the first time out. WOW, talk about had a blast. Runs just like the Champ Boats. Nose up in the straights and drop the bow in the corners. I've been running boats since 84 and never, never had this much fun. The boat is just awesome. First we threw it in with the outdrive set at neutral. Ran well, but porpoised abit.[sm=thumbs_up.gif] Second run,set the trim 1 deg. positive. it picked the nose up very little, from the first run,but didn't porpois anymore. We got to the water about 4 o-clock and I didn't much time to try any more adjustments so I just went ahead and ran a hole buch of laps just to have some fun. The boat is just a blast to run. Can't wait to get to the pond earlier and do some more testing. Thanks guy for all the info. ya'll been writing. Keep your nose up and your tail dragon.[sm=thumbup.gif][sm=teeth_smile.gif][sm=teeth_smile.gif][sm=teeth_smile.gif][sm=teeth_smile.gif][sm=teeth_smile.gif]

Thanks Eddy, I have a 1600 AA hump pack. Think I'll wait till Tuesday and go to the hobby shop and get that battery. Heck, We've got about 8" of rain Friday and Saturday. You can't get 200 ft. near the pond water everywhere. Can't wait to run this thing.

Just asking a second time. Don't want to throw the tunnel in only to find I don't have enough amps to control it. Thanks, Nathan
ORIGINAL: sportster445 Hope to test this weekend. Question though, What type of battery are you using. I'm thinking of a 6.0v 1600 mil.amp are should I use something better? Thanks in advance.
RE: my performance international 43'' fountain build
You can trim some of the rubber off the top carefully. then seal it with silicone. Are cut a hole for the plug wire and add a small scoop. I used a plastic spoon to make a scoop one time and it can out sweet. Must have looked funny,a guy in Wal-Mart checking out cooking spoons.[sm=shades_smile.gif]
ORIGINAL: nothinbetr2do sorry progress is going slow, but working 6 days a week doesn't leave much time for anything else. anyway, here's another small up-date. i tried to put the stuffing tube in the strut, to see if it would fit and it didn't. so i sanded it down alittle, now it fits like a glove. here's a pic with it in there
Tony, Look at this picture. I drill out the strut and put the stuffing tube all the way through the strut. Makes a really stiff set-up.
