RE: T-rex 600 Starts fast
soft starts on the stock align esc are noted for doing this. no need to replace just get used to flying no soft start. there are more benifits to no soft start then positives. most pro,s dont use soft start. 1 example is the 600,s auto in so sweet, if you get a glitch or temp loss of power and the heli starts back up in SS wich it should not do but will every now and then you can get into trouble.

RE: 450 or 500 or 600 trex?
keep the 450!!! i have all 3 the 450, 500, 600 and they all have there purpose. 600 is awsome but you wont push it that hard because of the crash cost. flys stable and its very visible 500 is a little monster thats stable and flys fast too! very nimble as well but cyclic could be a hair better. great heli. 450 can take or fly anywhere and is cheap to crash. you need this heli to practice your moves and it will make you very sharp with the big birds. as well its so dang quick you can do most any move on it.

RE: Member Daily Flight Rreports
ok 600 went up yesterday for a mild pac the 450 went up today and im working on long figure eights in front of me with banked turns at the ends. i got a few good banked turns in and some that looked ugly but i threw in a few barrel rolls for good luck lol. the 500 went up today and i worked on collective management in rolls and flips and half pac of inverted hovering. im going to tighten up my sticks so i can get more feedback on some of my flips im giving right and left input when i should not

RE: 600E - Bad main bearings?
the stock align bearings can be bad news and dont last long. its been noted even the replacement bearings seem to hold up better. 1mm is allot of movement. when you move the shaft are you sure the outside race isnt moving. if the bearings are installed incorrectly its possible that the bearing holders are hogged out causeing the play because the whole bearing spun inside the plastic bearing holder. [something to check out] pull the bearings out and check to see if there notchy and fit firmly in the plastic

RE: Tower pro servos on Trex -your opinion
minicwik said it best as many as you will break in crashes you could have got the best to begin with and have less down time cause you dont have to replace gears/servos all the time i ran those servos and im so happy i have the good ones now

RE: Member Daily Flight Rreports
3 pacs on the 450 and 2 on the 500. at almost like im taking steps backwards lately i was bringing in the 500 to land, i was in normal mode and i came in and ended up sideways and instead of getting it rite i flipped it upside down to punch out with negative. problem was i was in normal mode. so no power inverted lol but it did slow the heli down as i hit TH and she dropped 15' and i hear crunch crunch. heli gods were smiling as i only had a stripped servo which i have MG,s for anyway and the plastic canopy mount busted off. i was flying a short while ltr and its actually set up a hair better and seems to fly cleaner when i reset the swash

1 flight today and i stuck my 450 35' up a tree which i climbed in shorts only and sandals and proceeded to fall out the last ten feet when a limb broke. scrapes and scuffs lol but o got my heli!!!! :) :) :) im fine but i busted 1 of my really good CF blades, main shaft, CF boom in half, mavrikk belt, broke the flybar off in the gorilla paddle but i pulled a trick and saved the paddle. about a 50 dollar wreck. lucky i have all the peices and its almost ready to fly after a hour or so.

RE: ALL SHOGUN EXPERTS. $100.00 UP FOR GRABS
if you lived close i would do it for free bud. i could coach you with a vid cam and or walk you through the proper set up in this thread. first you need to trim your rudder properly and first we need to make sure your gyro is set rite as it may be reversed. that is step 1 after this you may be ready to go other then your TX needs to be set rite and then we can program your ESC lets start with you reading this http://www.digimemphoto.com/guides/backguide.htm you may get it in the air in a hour tops yourself

RE: trex500 tail bob problems
dont think to deep and leave your pitch curve alone! if you have a 12t raise TC to %100 min midstick a 13t raise it to %90 midstick and see if problem persist

RE: trex500 tail bob problems
yep its low head speed, throw the 13T on and run a %85 midstick throttle curve in normal mode. too check out what were talking about with your 12T bump up your TC in normal to %100 midstick and see if the problem persist. i would think it would fly perfect ast that point as long as the esc and hardware is set/tuned rite

RE: Trex 600 cyclic sensitivity
ok there pricey but supposed to possibly have moveable weights as well. get or check out the stubz paddles and you can move the weights all the way out and as you get used to it move them towards the flybar. since stubz have weights i see no difference in using weights to tame down your current paddles. theres very little info on this as everyone try,s to make there cyclic quicker but a heli,s a heli so if it works for the 450 the same mechanics are going to work on the 600. pop some weights in and let us know

RE: It's not an authentic Trex
just needs a new 1 way bearing thats it. first just fly the bad boy second i dought your local guy can even tell you what you really have cause he barely knows or he would tell you part for part what and where it came from. i could tell so the fact that he didnt tell you it was copterx or even mention it means he,s not on the ball. i have copterx parts on my trex frame and would only buy them not aligns overpriced parts. you dont have a dud bro thats not worth anything. post pics and ill tell you exactly what you have. enjoy it the price of copterx and align is very close.

RE: Member Daily Flight Rreports
ive had about 7 pacs on the 500 and 6 on the 450 and wrecked each one hard. luckily the 500 only busted the maingear and 1 set of servo gears that were replaced with metal gears so no biggie there. hit a tree again with the 450 and sheared the jesus bolt off saving the new CF blades. everythings straight on that heli too :) the only bad news is it hit and fell 30' and instead of trying to catch it i just watched and it screwed up the 15 dollar canopy. on the good side i got my first FF barrel roll down pat and man it looked sweet with the 500
