RE: Art-Tech 4 Channel 2.4Ghz MiG-15
It's a kit that I've had for quite a while. It's fun and all, but the one I have is nitro-powered and is very, VERY loud!

Guys, I looked everywhere and so far no one seems to have this (dogbone) part. If anyone here can recommend a place that would have it, believe me it would really be appreciated!

Realflight G2 Lite wont work on my New Computer
I have a new computer that runs Vista. I also have a very old Realflight G2 Lite Simulator that doesnt seem to want to run on Vista. Everytime I try to upload it, i keep getting the errors (This system uses DirectX 8.1 system not configured). When I go on-line looking for this driver, every place I've looked keeps saying that DirectX8.1 is only for Windows ME/XP. I bought this simulator back in 2004. Has the time finally come for me to toss it for a more up to date one? [:-]

This car is four wheel driven. I took a closer look and found that the front right driveshaft is missing. It must have popped off when the wheel snapped loose from the wishbone. Now I have to take it to the Hobby Shop and see if they can dig up a replacement for me Thanks again guys

Smartech Electric Nissan Skyline: I Need help
I have an Electric Smartech Nissan Skyline that ran like a dream...until a few days ago. I was racing through a vacant parking lot when suddenly I hit a small pothole and the front left wheel snapped loose. I easily re-connected it, but now at full throttle, it only runs at 1/2 the speed that it used to. Is there any way this can be repaired?

Why is there a shortage of these trucks everywhere? None of the LHS has them in stock. Even Tower Hobbies has them on Backorder! [:o]

Question about Battery Chargers
This weekend I plan to drive out and buy the Traxxas Slash. I bought a 7-cell 5000maH 8.4V battery for it already through Tower Hobbies and need advice on how to charge it. The only charger I have is for a 6-cell 2000maH 7.2V battery. Will this charger work with the 7-cell battery, or will I have to buy a new stronger charger? Please Advise!

RE: Man this Sucks!!!!.. (Tamiya Subaru Brat)
ORIGINAL: paintstikker The E-clips aren't all that hard to find, and most hobby shops should carry a variety of sizes. As for the screw that holds the motor - just use one of the other fine threaded screws in the kit, it doesn't have to be of that length, it just cannot be too long so the stators don't contact it. But, are you sure you didn't just loose or drop the missing hardware? I've always ended up with a couple to a bunch of extras of each hardware piece in my Tamiya kits - especially E-clips.
I've repeatedly looked EVERYWHERE, and I haven't been able to find them. I never left the hobby table and they are not on the floor or in any of the packages!

So far I went to one hobby shop, Home Depot and Ace Hardware and none of them had them avaliable. I know of another hobby shop that's about an hour drive from where I live that should have it, but I won't be able to make that trip until the weekend! :(

Man this Sucks!!!!.. (Tamiya Subaru Brat)
I bought this truck kit a few days ago and started working on it last night. Right now I'm almost finished, but this thing is missing some very crucial hardware. There are a set of snap rings that fits over the internal piston shaft of the rear shock absorbers. These rings are supposed to hold the piston head in place while the shock is in motion. This blasted kit only came with three (there were supposed to be four (two per shock absorber). There are also supposed to be two mounting screws that hold the engine in place. The parts bag only had one. Now I have a truck with only one rear shock absorber, and an engine thats beng held in place by only one mounting screw! Now I've got to start this perious journey through every LHS in the area trying to hunt down these parts that were supposed to already be supplied. Man this sucks!!!! :(
