RE: HL Light Question
Hi I have an RX18 Persing and the rear lights have it's own two pin socket soldered too the eight pin socket for the upper hull/turret, for the front lights. so you can solder a socket too the eight pin for the front lights or take the covers off the RX18 board and solder the rear lights too the board itself. but i think it would be easier just to solder a two pin too the eight pin for the front lights. jon

RE: building a super tiger?
HI Have a look at Bevsbargins on E-Bay I Got myself an HL S&S M26 Pershing, cost and P&P for £28.00. It had the 18 board and the new smoker (the one you can take apart) in it. It came with NO BATTERY or CHARGER and NO GUARANTY it would work. but when i put a battery in it, it worked great, nothing wrong with it.
Pershing sound for £28
360 TURRET
Some one was asking about my 360 turret. 1 Tie two turret rings together flat side to flat side. 2 make sure the two lugs are offset. 3 Be CAREFUL not to damage the teeth and grind out the lugs. 4 Put the turret rings back in your tanks an watch them antennas twang. The other way is to fix a sheet plastic circle to the turret ring and grind out a few teeth into the plastic sheet move the circle around and grind out the lug.

RE: Laser aiming device
Well all you do is take two turret rings and tie them together flat side to flat side with the two lugs offset to each other carefully grind the two lugs out making sure you don't damage the teeth on the other turret ring. and when you put them back in the tank you have a 360 turning turret. !!!!Watch that antenna twang now!!!! Ern's right it only runs off two AAA batteries the small long thin ones. you just solder it to the LED wires wave some smoke about fire your machine gun through the smoke and it looks like tracer fire. It works BRILL,

well you will need to use a drill bit and a spot of glue, then it just slots right in. solder it to the LED wires and a laser in your turret you shall have. Jon

RE: amerang tanks
Yep They look just like copies of HL tanks. On E-Bay UK you can get in auction a HL S&S with plastic tracks for around £30-£40 or metal tracks about £60-£80. They even auction broken tanks (broken/missing parts or fried boards) with metal tracks for about £50. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HENG-LONG-RC-TANK-GERMAN-TIGER-1-METAL-TRACKS-FAULTY_W0QQitemZ220485574052QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN?hash=item3355f6dda4&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ht_1160wt_841

Even if they don't work it's great just for the parts. How much would you pay for an smoke unit or gun elevation unit.

RE: Smoking RX18 = Happy tanker
Hi I found an old pair of tamiya crystals and put them in my HL S&S Tiger I it worked great. so the other day i thought would try them in the HL S&S Panzer IV, it seemed to respond slugish or iratic. i think it might be the transmiter the tiger has veriable speed and the P IV has a two step. you can get HL crystals cheap on E-Bay they range from about £1 to about £10.

Yes Sorry I forgot about the RX-18 boards. you can have airsoft or muzzel flash. The IR is realy good for tank battles, you dont fire BBs, you have the muzzel flash to indicate you have fired.

HI Yes they are. because its already built its a very good base to start off from. I have given my Tiger 1 a paint job (winter camo), added lots of extra bits (laser in turret and fiber optic machine gun) and modifide the electrics. so you can do a lot with them even though they are built
