RE: Is the atomic bb motor upgrade worth it (micro-t)
ORIGINAL: Maggster I know it isn't a stock motor. When it was first being talked about, the claim was that it was essentially the same as a stock motor, but with bearings instead of bushings. Then someone took one apart, and it had bushings. So it is essentially a stock motor with a BB sticker. Maybe I did just get a bad one, but there is no way it is "way faster then stock". I don't have a way to actually measure it, but it definitely seems a little slower than stock. Just my $.02 YMMV
There is alot of people here with Atomic BB motor on their Micro-T and i have never seen a single person complaining about the motor being slower than the stock, so i dont know what r u talking about. Do you think people pay extra money to go slower?

broke controller antenna
It was bent, I tried to straighten it out , you know redcat quality, it broke. I didnt try it if it still controlls the truck. It prolly would but not less distance. Anyways should get a new one? What are my choices. Definatly dont want to spend too much money on this truck anymore.

It looks like there is very little gap between them but i dont know if it will cause it. Also i dont know how to reduce the gap between gears. Pushing them together dont work

It says here it has brass bearings not ball bearings: http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=8619&cat_name=MICRO%20T Also i really dont care about bearings, yeah if it has ball bearings it is better but i dont think it will be same price. It is only $13.xx shipped. Cant beat it.

I would recommend you to upgrade rear hubs and front axle holders to aluminum. If you are going to do alot of jumping aluminum shocks are must.

Ok i finally replaced my clutch shoes and springs. What they looked like when i took them off. I also tried to install 13/18 clutch bell but no luck. Couldnt figure it out.

RE: Batts for Micro-t charger
I dont have suggestion on charger but i was gonna buy wall adapter to charge it. I charged it maybe 25 times before batteries dead so i changed my mind about buying adapter or rechargeable battery. If you dont play with it like crazy stay with regular batteries.
ORIGINAL: maxxdout lol, and uncontollable!!! if i get some extra $$$ im definetly gonna get the cheaper motor and esc, but righ now i am gonna try out the atomic bb motor and losi lithium polymer pack combo......
I dont see any resason spend that much monet on Micro-T. If you these on Mini-T i will accept that but on micro-t waste of money. Anyways BB motor is great motor, huge improvement over the stock one. Definatly worth the money. I have played with it maybe 15 times with stock motor didnt break a single part. With Atomic BB after second charge i broke the rear hub and i dont even have lipo. 160 mah is in the mail tho.

I dont know exactly what does ball bearing in a motor do but for $14 u cant beat this motor. It is really fast. Since i only use it indoors it is more than enough.

I would love to but i broke my rear hub and i dont even play with it outside. Jumps got crazier with this motor. I hit to the tv stand side ways and boom, broken rear hub. 160 mah on the way so it will be lil more faster, i think well enough for indoor.
