Yeah there KS 1060 full wave pipes and they come pre tuned to the size/cc of the engine being used. I have one in use on a DA 50R and it has a wide throttle curve.

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric
ORIGINAL: EXTREME FLIGHT Doug, 65s are plenty, and so are 56s. Just take a few extra minutes and add the flat carbon reinforcement to the stab, Loctite your motor mount bolts, run a bead of CA over all motor box joints, and file a flat on your pushrods where the EZ-connector set screw will seat. If you don't have the flat carbon let me know and I'll send you a piece. BTW, the rudder will not crack in knife edge (unless it hits the ground!). And finally-FLY IT!!!! I promise you it is a blast to fly. I am quite sure I have more flights on the 1st Chinese built prototype than any other plane I have ever flown. Drumbum, I can help you out with what you need to get going again. Please contact me via email.
Hey Chris I think I have some flat carbon in the shop, and will glue it in place with some Hysol. I use loctite on metal to metal connections on all my planes so no problem there. I have a plane on the table thats just about done, the EF Extra will be next.

RE: Lanier Yak
ORIGINAL: mga I find it hard to believe that the advertised weight on the box is what you are going to finish the plane at. So far every ARF I have bought all finished abouve the advertized weight. All of the planes fly beautifully. My Super Stearman by Great Planes is close to 16lbs, I think on the box it says close to 14lbs so I am 2 lobs over weight, but with over 1400 square inches of wing surface it is not a problem. I think this weight thing is overblown. The Yak has over 1400 square inches of wing area, so 18 to 20 lbs wont be a problem. also it can take a 50cc to a 80cc. I am putting a FPE 70cc which will be more than enough. With a 50 cc you would have to get it lighter around 18lbs and you wont have a problem. Even the Composite ARF's are difficult to finish at the advertized wieht. Unless you go with all the expensive stuff, lipo's carbon fiber everthing, but who has the money for all of this, only a few.
The Super Sterman and Yak 54 are both great planes but different animals!

RE: YAK 54 TOC1
ORIGINAL: Banche I probably shouldnt be defending myself but it really isnt that bad. I don ttry to hit the ducks, just 'buzz' them and they run like hell, that is funny no matte rwho you are. And this guy who calls the police flies big electric airplanes and is some paranoid safety freak who hates gas and probably 3D, though I dont know that for shure, and he's probably jelous. He is the only person in my whole history of flying rc planes who I have ever known to dislike my flying. over 10 people in the neighbor hood have stoped buy the house wanting too see the plane because they think it is real cool, and I show them, some of the families that live next to this guys house have little kids and they come over to watch, they love it. Now I guess you may have a different oppinion about this but my flying isnt out of controle at all, this guy knows that but he calls the police anyway, so I buzz his house. I am shure the next time I fly there he will be an ass and call the cops, even if I hover infront of myself the whole time way, away from him. I am going to get a picture of myself and one of the cops that comes over next holding my TX and me holding my airplane!!!!!! I think they get bored of there job and like watching me fly. they just sat there untill they got a call, and then they left cuz they had too. its hilarious!!!! That would be priceless!!!!
