RE: TOWER HOBBIES SUCKS
mistakes happen, period. ive done biz with tower since the early 80's when previous owners were at hand. takes a minute to call them and explain your issue to a rep and they are always quick to fix a mistake. sounds like you only want to rant and not give them the opportunity to right a wrong.

these are much more durable then redcat. near every hobbyshop carries parts to, unlike redcat. Traxxas vehicles are another top choice! perfect for the kids and mrs. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAAMW**&P=0 cheers and have fun, stone

RE: LiPo rookie
yes, you got a bad pac. be careful with it. zippy's are hit or miss when buying them. I had prob 50 zippy packs and about 8-10 of them arrive dead. try hobbypartz.com genace are the best packs on the planet, tried, tested and proven with online test results. blue lipos are good and so are sky lipo.

RE: Is there a radio that does not lose signal?
i fly jr11x with 921X with dual sats. rock solid system. * remember all radios meet FCC requirements and there is no such thing as 100% guarantee. everything can have transmission interruption.

RE: Need help, I'm stumped!
curious, else where on your plane, are you using a y with a reverser ? or just using a servo reverser any where? if so thats your prob. its picking up the rf from the retracts. if not, Its the controller unit giving much dirty feedback to the rx instead of isolating it. ive had this very issue and found that my servo reverser was picking up the rf from my retracts and moving servos. i elminated the reverser and prob was fixed.

RE: TROY BUILT MODELS
i just paid 38 bucks for a box bout that size shipped via fedex. it arrived perfect
ORIGINAL: midastouch_73
ORIGINAL: F4u5 Can you say shipping AND HANDLING.....the handling is where they make the money
I guess it takes a degree in material handling to peel off a sticker then drag the box next to the door for the UPS man...lol For all the extra handling charges this is what you get...... A box that looks as if it was handled by some chimps!!!! I wonder if the stain on the box is urine?
RE: help me deal with this guy!!!
well sadly, some people just arent wired properly. Ive got around 30 or so positive feedbacks and had one guy try to give me a bad rating simply because I refused to ship out of country, which my ad stated. he wanted me to ship to his freind in the states and he'd pick it up while here on vacation and i said NO WAY as this could easily be a scammer. Either way, the wack job gave me a negative mark for rejecting his winning bid. you just never know who or what is lurking on the other keyboard. You can contact ebay and contest his remark.

RE: Transmitter Resolution - What Does It Mean?
I recently went from a DX7 1024res to a JR11x 2048res and its a huge difference in control response and servo movements. I could literally feel and see the difference on the bench before I even got in the air. Airborn control is now much smoother. really smooth transmission of DSMX with dual sats.

RE: Jet Product Supply Monopolies
Exclusive distribution rights are good for the distributor and saves head aches for the MFG. However, IF the distributor is selling soley to the public and not selling to sub dealers then the consumers purchase options are severly limited and this creates a small monopoly. The smart thing is for the distributor to set up a nationwide dealer network providing consumers the choice of transaction. In the end, the consumer is happy and the distributor and mfg both sell more jets. simple good business, sadly not all businesses share this biz ethic. When a MFG. provides a distributor with exclusive rights, they are also setting the expectations very high with that distributor. The distributor is responsible for stocking inventory, expanding said market and providing proper service and along with full product support. Biz 101. Sadly I see a few operations who call them selfs distributors who dont deserver to have particular product lines much less a distribution title. On the other hand , there are several that do have a proper network which Im personally able to do biz and suit my edf needs.

RE: Unexplained loss of control
really sounds like a 2.4 lock out. how many satelites are you runnning? ive had and seen this same issue. 20' off the ground hovering, cockpit facing me, plane 25' in front of me. bam! lock out!! had it happen twice. ALL 2.4 systems have blinds spots. You might have found one due to the orientation of your rx. Do you check your rx after you turn it on to make sure you have a full connection and not a parial aka blinking light? from your descriptions, inputs and volt feed. I just dont see anything else being an issue.

RE: Cant see my damn airplane !
i have light sensative eyes from a past head injury and wear shades to avoid getting migranes. I wear contacts which make my vision better then 20/20 but also wear a very good set of shades from Oakley, especially while flying. The best lense Ive found on the market and Ive tried so many. a vr28 iridium lense. amazing lenses to look through. blocks %100 of all harmful UV's including blue http://www.bdsunglasses.com/oakley-inmate-glasses-pol-chrm-blk-iri-p/oak-05-631.htm?gdftrk=gdfV21965_a_7c597_a_7c4144_a_7cOak_d_05_d_631

RE: BVM Jets Photo and RC Plane Bomber
are you seriously that short of ......... ? BVM web/business/marketing has ZERO to do with the actions of someone using a commonly found scale aircraft in an illegal fashion. as for the rest of your post, you can watch the senate meetings regarding UAV's under 55lbs, live on c-span. sorry sir, but your post and remarks show a huge lack on intellect and very poor judgement in my opinion.

RE: Is China getting expensive?
that list amish posted is very unaccurate as to who is selling Made in the US products. many of them listed names are simply US distributors selling foreign products.
