Hey kent_man, It looks like you got more than you bargained for on this one! Awesome that you are up and running. When you get a chance, also check out coloradodriftrc.com, our Colorado based club is growing. We have some good videos up. We are all very friendly and out to have fun drifting. The forum has a ton of topics/answers/tips etc. Hyperdrift has some of the tightest videos on youtube. They are really friendly too, so if you have questions, hit them up. I'm going to join thier forum today. I didn't realize they had a site going...duh!! [:D]

I use Traxxas. They give a very solid connection. Deans plugs are probably the most common (around here anyway).

Here's my latest. The flat/matte white turned out pretty nice, but it was actually a cover up. I was going for carbon fiber, and totally messed it up. I'm happy with this, and I love the orange! Hey Winon, I only have Windows Movie Maker too. You can do slow mo and all kinds of other effects. Just right click on the clip you want an effect on and click video effects. There are several effects to choose from. You can also do multiple effects on one clip. Anyway, nice video!

Stock measurements for the NiHm that comes with it are about 1 7/8 x 7/8. However, Losi wants $40 for theirs and these are only $12.

The car is fun now, but out of the box it was a dissappointment. This thing needs to be brushless (in my opinion). I would get a good 7 or 8 minutes of run time with the smaller Micro T batteries. Enough to have some fun. However, I found these $12 Lipos as an alternative to the $40 LiPo that Losi wants to sell you. I should double my run times and give a little more kick. It fits perfectly and is the same spec as the Losi battery so there shouldn't be any issues. I just need to find the micro t LiPo connector. These also have a balance plug to help extend the life. RE: Anyone try the new Losi 1:24 4wd Rally Car?
I have mine on order...couldn't resist. I'm going to try to go brushless with my micro-t set up, but not sure if it will work. If it does, it should be pretty sick. Either way, I'm looking forward to the micro fun. My opinion regarding Losi: The reason that Losi is making soooo much micro stuff is because they are the only ones that do it (well) until you get into the 1/18 scale. Their micro stuff is pretty cool and very cheap. The large scale stuff is made by several companies. Still...the Losi Eight is one of the most popular 1/8 scale models (here in Colorado anyway).
