A little too expensive I think for what you really get. Just my opinion. It does look cool.
ORIGINAL: harrier I want longer run times out of my Micro-T and saw that a 7.4 180 mah 2-cell Lipo option is available. Â Can I swap the stock NiMH with the Lipo without replacing the ESC, motor, etc or was the Lipo option meant to be used in conjunction with the brushless? Â
The most effective thing I did for longer run times was to get the ball bearing kit. If you don't already have that, get it. Also, if you're running the brushless ESC you might have trouble with the NiMH because of the LiPo cut off. I can't seem to run both anyway, but maybe others have had good luck. On another note, I just finished up a classic hauler body. It fits fine with a full size FASST receiver under it and I think it looks pretty cool.

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX
OK...I've been struggling for months now trying to figure this out. I've replaced every piece of this MCX, even the motors, but I still the the following: When I throttle anywhere from 3/4 to full, it will not pirouette right. It just keeps spinning left, and it is not a trim issue. I also have two tenergy 1.3's and a stock eflight battery, so I'm pretty sure it's not the batteries, although the problem does get worse when it's low on juice. I am at a total loss. Anyone have any suggestions?

CDV Problem - Exceed Infinitive
I just ordered the Exceed Infiniteve CDV type axles from Exceed's website. I installed them, but they're a tad too long. [:(] They don't allow the suspension to work properly and they're pushing agains the wheels adding resistance to it's ability to move. [&o] CAN ANYONE HELP? Can I return these for some stock dog bones?
ORIGINAL: droppedgmc
ORIGINAL: whipnet Hey guys, sorry for the lame question, but what seems to be the main setup for going BL with these? Thanks *
17.5, 13.5, 10.5
I'm running a 13.5, Novak GTB, 75/22, and 2s Lipo (5000). Plenty fast! So far motor isn't getting too hot, but we'll see as I drive it more. I took it for several top speed runs in front of the house and it was fine. I'm sure it'll be a little different on the track.
No adaptors available that I'm aware of for the SC10, plus it would kind of kill the purpose of the class.
Al ot of people put 1/8 scale buggy wheels on the slash. They are actually very close in size and there are more options on buggy wheels. The adapters would probably work on the rear of the SC10 but there is nothing for the front at this time.
A lot of people smoke crack, doesn't make it the right thing to do.[;)]
Why would it be wrong? Same size, similar weight, more selection of tires. I dont get your point, oh thats right you dont have a valid one.
The SCT rules forbid the use of 1/8 buggy tires and wheels. It's the wrong thing to do because it ruins the scale appearance of the SCT class. There are lots of tire of the week classes (like stadium trucks for example), the SC classes are popular do the scale appearance and performance. Oh wait, that was a valid point, your bad.[:)]
SNAP! j/k. You guys are great!

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX
ORIGINAL: mydartswinger Make sure that you're flybar weights are at an equal distance from the main shaft. Sometimes one of them will slide in a hair and throw it off balance. Did you check BOTH main shafts? There is an inner and an outer shaft. If you replaced one, but not the other, your problem could be with the one that you didn't replace. Chipped or cracked blades can cause it as well. Also check the alignment of your main gears. Sometimes they can get at an angle and cause the TBE. The TX batteries should have nothing to do with the TBE. If you're still running the included AA's, you should change them to better ones regardless of an issue with the heli. The ones included are junk.
Thanks...I'll get into it again. Now that you mention it, I think it is my gears. I've had a very hard time "truing" these up. Thanks again!
ORIGINAL: SCVJeff I just want mine to fly farther than 20' in the straight line before dropping to a crawl. Whats the secret?
I've noticed that if you feather the throttle a bit while in forward flight it will help you maintain a decent amount of speed. On another note...I seem to be getting a "toilet bowl" effect when hovering. It used to hover perfectly, so I replaced the main shaft, the fly bar, and I assembled the full glow in the dark kit. It still seems to have the problem. I've noticed a few people suggesting changing the TX batteries. Will this possible solve my problem? Thanks,
