RE: HOBBY king going down the tube?
Hey V, I'm just following and trying to help out with this, no disrespect intended here and that goes for most everybody here I think. If you can't acept the dents then you need to stay on them for a new wing untill you have a new wing or they wear you out in which case you can give in or never do business with them anymore. It is a nice looking plane I have to say that much. I don't really know how the dents got their HK probably doesn't either, could be why they don't want to replace it.stay on them, it's not going to hurt them to send you a new wing. Good luck with it I hope you get one.

RE: HOBBY king going down the tube?
Vasek, I beleave you just solved the mystery damage for me. It went through customs. Haven't you ever heard stories of them tearing cars and even airplanes apart lookimg for illegal contraban?. I'll bet they opened up your box. If they did, and you got $10 from HK then your comming out ahead for sure. Hey, after a couple years of use I doubt youll even notice those dents, knowing foam planes, theres more dents comming. Enjoy it while its looking its best.

RE: HOBBY king going down the tube?
Do you have kids ? Not sure it this is related but, I was building a fuselage awhile back when I noticed that some of the bulkheads where no longer there, while pondering this I looked over to my 6 yearold at the vise enjoying herself. So, maybe its ok not to have all things perfect in this imperfect world. Just my 2¢

RE: Skybolt hangar and clubhouse
Murphy, had the same problem hooking up to the smoke nipple. I ran copper tubing right to the head of the muffler, 1/8"tubing, fastened some of it to the outside of the muffler to pickup heat and then ran the tubing far enough off the muffler that its cool enough not to melt the black tubing about an inch worked for me."
