RE: gt 33 os engine
Hi Here's the information http://www.osengines.com/engines/osmg1533.html It's quoting 3.84hp @ 9000rpm and i'm with nitrowing on this one it's too small for the P-51. Way better having too much power than too little as you can always use your throttle. A better bet would be a DLE 55 or if you're an OS fan their 55 gasser. Just my 2 cents worth Regards Styk

RE: Voltage regulator for LiFe RX battery?
Hi Henry I think you are absolutely correct in what you are saying and my sincere apologies to you if i in any way sounded dismissive. For the record i have been using Life batteries with JR Rx's and Hi-Tec servos unregulated for a couple of years now and have encountered no problems at all. That's not to say i am right because as i said earlier i totally agree with you. Regards Styk

RE: Voltage regulator for LiFe RX battery?
OK then I wont just tell you that you don't need one when using a LiFe RX battery but i'm intrigued as to why you want to use one when you have already been told that you DON'T need one if using a Life battery for your Rx. Can i ask you why??? Regards Styk

RE: ESM Planes - RIPOFF!
Hey guys If you think you're getting ripped off over there you're needing to come over here and then you'll have something to really complain about Example ESM 50cc ME 109 at TBM in the States $549=£350 GBPounds Same plane in the UK $1087 USD=£699 GBPounds Now that is what i call getting ripped off[:@][:@]

RE: World models 80 inch p51 engine advice
ORIGINAL: rc34074 Styk- I replaced mine with Spring Air 400 series retracts. They are very strong. You will need to change the retract mounting rails to fit them but then I do this with all of my arf warbirds. The Robarts could work too of course. Spring Air is www.retracts.com . Prop for MVVS 40cc
Hi can i ask your advice on what would be a good prop for a MVVS 40 flying a 9kg 80" span P51 Mustang. Its fitted with a wrapround inverted pitts muffler. I was thinking about a 20x10 what do you think?? Best Regards Styk

RE: 26 CC recomendation
seeing that MVVS make Evolution and Graupner engines and are identical i would imagine that the 26 will disappear to be replaced by the 30 at some time. As for them not being available in the US P.e. Reivers in Holland will ship anywhere Regards Styk

RE: 26 CC recomendation
I can thoroughly recommend an MVVS. A real quality engine. The great thing about it is they have now discontinued the 26 and have brought out a 30 that is the same dimensions as the 26 and another good point is it is front induction and side exhaust and fitted with an inverted wrap round muffler gives it a very narrow profile Just my honest opinion Regards Styk

RE: New ARTF Mosquito - Is there a Market?
I know you are primarily asking the U.S. modellers for their feedback but i thought, would it not be a good idea to also offer it as a ready to paint model (just covered) to give modellers the choice of scheme. I think it would appeal to a lot more if that option was available. Just my 2 pence/cent worth Regards Styk

RE: Blackhorse Cap 232 1.80
ORIGINAL: Old Fart Hello sticks how did you think it handled with the fg36 powering it? i have the 220 glow engine and like the idea.Might sound silly but i'd like to end up with a cap232 that handles similar to the g4.5 version.
Hi Old Fart It was fine with the FG in it. Not a rocket ship, i.e. it would lose steam on a vertical, and wouldn't 3d but for nice scale aerobatics it was good. I think your 220 is on a par with the FG in terms of power maybe slightly more
