The spinner is a from -DAVE BROW- its a 4" ultimite style , it has a sharper point then the Tru-turn spinner- the prop is a Biela (28x12) 3 blade McCully style with the logos- it just fine tunes the look of the front so well ........

OK so I meet a lot of different people in this hobby that are all very helpfull- but in this perticular instance SPIDERNAD (Dan) keeped the stock high in my experiences. Dan you are one of the reasons why this hobby is great. Its people like you who go out of their way to help fellow hobbyist. Thanks to Dan my Cessna now has a scale prop. It was a formula of me being inpatient and Dan being generous. here are the photos of the new and old prop and spinner- I think you can see the differences.......(the red CESSNA is the real one) LOL THANK YOU DAN

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna
Well with Mario's cessna his axels need to be changed- he has had many , many landings so they bent in some making the tail drop -and he has the thinner main gear that has bent out alittle- agian he has A-LOT of flights on his cessna-He may hold the flight recored-(Tommy switch to a thicker metal since) on the Blue cessna it has one flight and as you see in the photos it has a higher stance with the tail higher off the ground- Now if you look at photos of real 182's and look at the nose gear and the sping arm and see it just touches the bottom of the cowl- I tried to match mine up just so- any higer and it would be in the cowl - so you only have so much to play with (unless you use a smaller nose wheel)-again look at a full scale 182 and it has some slight tail drop- Also Mario has not had any tail scrapes on landings........

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna
Hey Mifsudm , great CG stand Yes I did check the CG and it lifted fine (when It rose up it did not tilt) but the test pilot suggested it could use a bit more nose weight... I too added re-enforcement to the fuse interior as well as repainted the empennage- so it became more tail heavy

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna
I beg to differ.......the Cessna 182 TC has a larger wheel pant (i use to think the same thing that they were to big) but when I was up close to a 2009 182 TC I saw that the wheel pants are larger JUST LIKE TOMMYs- as far as the nose wheel strut the angle can be adjusted with washers and the strut itself can be adjusted... here are some photos of a 2009 Cessna TC ____ Hey Parrot Girl Check out the cowl it has the screws in it just like Tommys new Cowl...........

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna
Hey I want the new 2 piece cowl....... its very scale to the year of the paint scheme as well - Hey Parrot Girl dont be scared of the wing strut its a very easy up-grade with a blind nut just as discussed in the last few post.... if you look to the left and right in the photos there is a painted black block to the left and right of the circle cut wood former and there you will put the blind nut and small wood base... congrats on the new Cessna

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna
OK today Mario and I did the first flight of the Cessna - All went great - However after Mario landed and taxied back to the pits we saw that the wing strut pulled right out of the fuse..... Now the same thing happened to Mario's red cessna - so I would suggest that you upgrade the strut joint in the fuse- Tommy only used a threaded dowl - it needs to be a blind nut from behind the fuse with a flat wood in between- otherwise a great first flight and start of the season...... Has anyone had this problem with there cessna? please let me know - o yeah very nice GPS i love it
