RE: Scale retract landing gears and spinners
Chutt, outstanding workmanship, shame you're in Brazil as shipping would be an issue. I'm sure there may be some way around that though. I have some electric jackscrew retracts in my modified P-51 with a Sachs 5.8 but yours sure look beautiful. I,m sure with some advertising you will be successful! Regards, sugarfox!

Freebird, this must put the Banshee further down in the stack. Nice find what ever it is. I'll go with the BA. Finally finished covering my Banshee and I'm in the process of putting it back together. Hope you are well.....regards Sugarfox

Jack, are you saying there are 5 wires coming out of the servo? What is the name of this servo? I have never seen such a thing. This has got to be some kind of special servo for something other than what we are doing................sugarfox

RE: Glow plugs price?
Hi guys, I've been using glow devils for years with no problems. I might change one at the beginning of the season just for the fun of it. Can't remember when I actually "blew" one. They are reasonable and reliable. I see no reason to spend big bucks on an os plug unless an engine won't run on anything else. I do have one engine mounted inverted that runs better on an os 8. Why I don't really know for sure maybe its hotter or sumpthin, but thats the only os plug I use.

RE: A Very Good Day!
Dang Freebird, the covering looks better than my freshly covered banshee. Looks like you lucked out again. I always thought the vertical stab on the eyeball looks way too small to be effective. But since it flys fine it just goes to show what I know about aerodynamics. Glad to hear you had a good day at the field, I thought about driving out there but its been blowing like a hurricane around here for a couple of days. I spent the day fighting the covering on this Banshee and cussing...........regards John

RE: Deception 10 Build Thread
David, the canopy location will have an effect on knife edge flight, in my experience. How or why I have no idea as I am no aerodynamic expert by any means. That being said, using the thumb and eyeball technology developed by me over the years, I'd move it forward a bit..sugarfox

RE: Changing glue??
I've found that when you will need to sand an area that wood glue like titebond is much easier to sand than ca. Such as wing sheeting etc. I use several different types of glue depending on the situation. I've gone back to using Titebond more. sugarfox
