RE: GreatPlanes RV-4 ARF someone for info?
This is one great flying aircraft. The OS 91FS is plenty of power for scale and eveyday flying. an OS110 might be the ticket for more power. I have flown this model many times. This model will only give you an easy feeling for flying. knife edge, four point rolls with ease. Once you fly you will be hooked. The Spec

RE: RV4 60 servos...
Mount the elevator servo as the manual shows. If you reverse the rudder servo the wires rub on the wing tube. I mounted the rudder servo like the elevator and extended the pushrod. You will need to purchase short 4-40 pushrod and assemble like the elevator rod. This has worked very well for me. Superspec

I just received my TF P47 ARF. The finish is top line. Not one wrinkle or bubble. And yes Jock it has the hatch with magnets. This shoud be fun to assemble. The retract mounts need to be beefed up and i'll look at the retracts to see if they have been upgraded. Superspec.

RE: RV-4 sixty...
This RV-4 flies like big baby. Stock covering is kinda bland but works. OS 91 FS is plenty of power for this big baby. Very easy to take off , land with half flaps is a piece of cake. Just plain fun to fly.

Hey Lou. If you go to the robart web site you can order the struts for the air retracts. They might work in the 608 HD.

The 608 Hd 90 degree have worked great so far. You will need to file or grind the stock wire down to fit the 3/16 hole .

RE: Great Planes RV-4 .60-.90 ARF
Maiden flight for the RV last night. Left the ground a little early, climbed very nice. Two clickes of down trim was all that was needed. New OS 91fs with two tanks of fuel ran through it. I was shaking a little. The engine was flawless, with flaps down the landing is sooo slow. Plenty of power for scale flight and more. superspec.

The Texan flew yesterday. Replaced the stock retracts with Robart 608HD. All the landings were greased so no problems so far.

RE: Top Flite AT6 ARF
Well Jet, Last saturday it was just a little breezy. I asked my son if he was okay to fly. the flight was good and the landing was very smooth, then he slid off the runway and the left retract failed. Scraped the wing tip a little but thats all. the retract looks like yours. Robart HD908 went in sat night. Might fly again this week. the Texan is a blast to watch and fly. Superspec

RE: Top Flite AT6 ARF
Hey guys, my son did his maiden flight friday evening. A little squirly on takeoff, but this plane can fly. slow speed flybyes were awsome. the OS 91 is plenty of power for this bird. With the flaps down the landings were greased. Saturday morning He ran this plane through the wringer. Both of us are very impressed with the AT6. We would highly recomend this plane. I also got some airtime, what a joy to fly.

Well my son and I reving up the AT6 Texan And the UPS man walks up with a large airplane looking box. So we shut down the OS 91FS. First full tank bye the way. The RV4 has arrived. After inspection I was worried about both of the wrinkles I would need to iron. Okay three at least, This plane looks great. Tell more later.
