xenonproject?
Has anyone ever ordered from xenonproject.com? I have not been able to find many reviews for them? What I did find sounded good, but the amount I found could have been self generated. I talked to them via chat and they were very responsive and sounded on the up and up and ship from California, but what can you tell from a chat. If any one can shed some light on them I would appreciate it. If this question is in the wrong place MODS please move. Thanks Steve

RE: Esky lama 3 upgardes (HOW TO)
Peter, good to hear from you. Was hoping you would be on tonight. The crystals are the little tab thing on the 4 in 1 that can be pulled out? if so is it safe to say I could pull them from my honeybee FP to test this theory, then use the HBFP radio? being that both are e-sky? What exactly would I search for on ebay to find what I need...? Thanks

RE: Esky lama 3 upgardes (HOW TO)
ok so the problem (above) has gotten worse and im not sure what to do beside scrap the whole thing and build a new one. Here is what is happening. 1) Turn on the radio 2) plug in battery 3) stand back cause its about to start thrashing. Once the battery I plugged in, the servo arms go straight up and I start hearing a hissing sound coming from them and I also hear a clicking sound. They act like I am throttled all the way up Blades don't move or sometimes they go full out with throttle down posistion. I can try and throttle up and the blades don't even think about moving, sometimes they do. I have traced all wires to make sure there are no shorts or raw spots. I have also tried the HBFP in the same location to make sure I was not getting a cross in signal. Im not sure what else to try. Any ideas? Steve

I have tried in diffferent locations and still the same result. while flying its very jerky and sputtering as well. I have looked for shorts and crosses but have found no culprit. Is this a bad tx/rx Im seeing or the motors? Thanks for the help. Steve

RE: Esky lama 3 upgardes (HOW TO)
Thanks Guys! I figured it out and it was user error for sure. I was actaully giving to much throttle (slamming it forward). I was going at it hard but found if I ease it on I would get the desired result which is faster forward flight. Now that I can stay in the air longer and hover and fly I am learning alot more about the heli and what needs to happen, over, what I want to hapen to get the same result. I really want to get into bigger helis and know that what I pick up flying a Coaxial (nose in hover esp.) will pay big dividends once I make the move. Ill probably order the turbo shaft today. Stinkin blade slap is making me nutty [:D] Looks like Ill probably need a new body as well. Before I got the new skids on the stupid litttle screw holders snapped of. That will be the second body that hapened on. Raelly need a solution for that.....Oh yeah, Dont crash Steve
ORIGINAL: pgroom_68
ORIGINAL: swalke2 Well I just got the adjustable flybar...So the question is how far do I move the weights in from the outside. Thanks
Hey again Steve, The way that I was told is "from outside weight to outside weight must never get less than 4.5 inches or a death-roll will result!" This taught me to take it in small incrediments

RE: Esky lama 3 upgardes (HOW TO)
Well I just got the adjustable flybar and Tail boom supports in and installed. I like working form home. [8D] I am excited yet scared to move those weights in. I ran thru 2.5 batteries last night mostly hovering tail in, flick to either side then nose in. I was actually impressing myself (toot toot). I also got some serious height to where it was a spec, went dead stick about 35 feet and skids survived.. The AFC skids are the ticket for sure. So the question is how far do I move the weights in from the outside. Thanks Steve Xtreme Graphite Tail boom support pipes, esl018

RE: Esky Honey Bee
Gahhhh well I got my screws in lickity split. No wI fire up the bird and the tail rotor does not move. When powered down If i flick it with my finger it spins freely. If I give it some juice and the main starts to spin and i flick the tail rotor it will then begin to spin. Does it sound like I need a new one....maybe the internals are stripped from me trying to fly it before i noticed the tail screws were gone [X(]? (I know to check everything now) Thanks for any help Steve

4 channel to 6 channel upgrade
I am looking to break away from my 4 channel tx/rx and moving into a 6 channel. I want to get something that wont break the bank but I can use for a long time. My initial use will be simulator only. I really want to get some 6 -channel sim time in before I dump the kids college fund on a bird, When I search online all i see is the same Futaba 6EX 6-Channel 2.4GHz Transmitter/Receiver. Is this my only and safest bet to upgrade? Thanks Steve

ok im going to try and explain this about the servo arm and ask a question If the Servo arm comes off the Servo. is there a neutral position that the arm needs to go back on or can it go back on and then just twisted to a neutral location like in the middle? thanks I hope that's clear steve

RE: Esky lama 3 upgardes (HOW TO)
well i just did the hole move on the left servo and WOW! I just need the adjustable flybar now. I am having an issue and this was also the case before making the above adjust ment. when I lift off and hover, fly, precrash or whatever you wanna call it. I have to keep my right stick pined to the right othewise I get really bad drift to the left i have tried adjusting the the controls on the TX but they dont really seem to do anything. I heard there was maybe an adjutmnet on the 4-n-1 that can be made to correct this. Can somone please advise. On a sidenote.....The local flying club was at a feild near me today and there were atleast 50 people and 100 heli's there. everything from my smalll Honeybee FP all the way up to a scale 90 with a bell militry fuse, side guns and a video camera on the front..... It was way cool. Anyway thanks for all the info you guys have given. Steve
