RE: Eurofighter + JetCat 160 Fuel Capacity
in my EF i have 4 liters..and P160 the timer is set at 5:59 and when i land i still have around 1 liter ..so i can go theoretically 1..1.5 minutes longer.. but i don't land at timer.. so i get 7 minutes flight and my style of flight is using a lot the throttle.. not always full or at one point...

RE: Monino Museum, Russia
ORIGINAL: PhilLin Thx for posting, Alesio! I also wanted to make a side trip to Monino on the free-day during my Moscow tour, but cud not get help in arranging the visit, from the local tour guide nor the hotel staff. Ended up visiting their Shuttle exhibit in Gorki Park. Can you please share with us some details of arranging your visit? TIA! Phil
well..we organised ourself, we organised a driver (5000 RUB..not cheap), we called (our transalatorin) Monino to see if they where open and no need to send a pass copy.. and we traveled there..is around 30 km..est of moscow, traveling from the Mkad direction Nizny Novgorod but you have to know where is it..there is no indication sing, no panel, nothing.. there is just a gate inbetween a forest, on the Highway and that is where you have to go in..and foreigners you have to pay more tan a russian national..and you have to pay too for a camera.. but..you can basically go to the planes, touch them, and so on..in pic my friend..going around here some infos http://www.moninoaviation.com/ The big helicopter, the MIL-12 did fly.. [:)] tre exemplar where build..
ORIGINAL: David Gladwin Stroke of genius those Plax bottles eh, Alessio ? Light, cheap, free in fact, very easy to assemble, right capacity, fit perfectly, don't leak, transparent and plumbed in series they work to absolute perfection. They are even fairly fire resistant as I found out the hard way !! What could be better ? Regards, David.
those bottles even keep your teeth clean.. that's perfect!! [:D] normally we should pay you a beer for the idea.. in this case a mouth wash is more appropriate.. [;)] i must add, mine, even suffered a crash, not leaking at all!!

RE: AMA Safety requirements for Turbine Flight.
hello Martino probably you speak of the same airfield where i fly turbine since 4 years now... beside being grounded too, i'm the first that i approve and wish to introduce regulations.. sorry to say that, but we need to find a solution.. a field reglementation is there..and we must respect it...and regarding jets...we need to be very careful, too many people showed up without the necessary knowledge and expertise and we had to see very bad situations... reading the "reports" i'm sure that is just matter of time and some hard work.. and we will be flying again.. i really don't think there is a hate of jets...is just that we jet pilots must be even more careful than other... alessio

RE: Jet(cat) Man in the news
ORIGINAL: erbroens That´s a double surprise to me! the ban comes since the 50´s and I am quite intrigued you didn´t like motorsports as a rocketeer and aviation fan too.. Enrique
i like motorsport..i just don't like the decision to finish the ban.. easy sayd, in switzelrnad we don't have much places to build a racetrack so they just sell out or rent old military airport (we have a few).. and who's using them now?? we..RC pilots..and in the name of motorsport money, we loose our flying spaces.. btw, back on topic.. is german.. but nice http://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/dyn/news/video/player.html?videoid=17449&rid=186&dummy=1&before=&after=
