RE: hmm
I'm jealous that your brother's ZizZag not only runs, but runs well. Who said anything about 30 mph? I just expected the thing to actually work... silly me.[sm=bananahead.gif] I still believe that ZizZags are generally junk. I base that on the fact that I have now owned 2 different Zig Zag Racers and both had problems out of the box. Maybe I have just had bad luck? I still feel the money would be better spent on something else.

RE: hmm
DO NOT BUY A ZIGZAG RACER!!![sm=52_52.gif] I have one and I am very disappointed. It was an absolute waste of money. The original one I bought died on it's maiden voyage. I called and explained the problem to Horizon Hobby's customer service. I had to PAY to ship the broken one back so that they could send me a new one.[sm=punching.gif] Anyway... the ZigZag Racer totally sucks barnacles[sm=redface.gif]. It is very slow. The drive line vibrates like crazy and makes a horrible noise. There is no easy way to lube it. The hull takes on water like the Titanic[sm=drowning.gif], through either the rudder or stuffing tube. ( be sure to pull the drain plug after each trip to the lake ) It is really just a horribly overpriced toy. For the money you could probably buy two RC boats from Walmart and be better off. Good luck.

RE: New Venom gas cat boats
I occasionally see the guys from Venom testing the King of Shaves down at the pond. It's a beautiful boat and looks like it will be a lot of fun. The upgraded motor will be a must if you want it to really fly.

RE: SV27 Props
I guess it is time that I picked up a GPS so that I can be a bit more scientific in figuring out which setup is actually the fastest. Would you would please tell me what brand and model GPS you are using? Thank you very much.

RE: Spektrum DX3R and boats don't mix!
Has anybody tried lengthening the receiver antenna? The stock antenna on the SR3000 RX is only 8.5" long... would it improve reliability to solder an extension? Could it make things worse?

" What dose that even mean? [sm=bananahead.gif] Are you trying to say "Plus, half the posts on here are about the sv?" "Half" is a bit of an exaggeration, don't ya think

SV 27 OWNERS: WHAT RADIO DO YOU RUN IN YOUR SUPERVEE27?
How many people got rid of the stock radio system and installed after market radios. Did you upgrade both the radio and receiver? What radio system do you run now?
