big, try leaning your motor a little more the t-15 is probably the worst motor hpi makes i had a bear of a time keeping mine tuned so i got rid of it..as for handling buy a better steering servo.

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*
removing the restrictor will not harm your motor, i would leave it in til you got used to the truck, because you will notice a big difference when you pull it out..

RE: *~ Official RC10GT2 Thread ~*
youll be more than happy with the .15 it is very reliable and keeps a good tune. and because if your racing you can use the rtr motor in most cases so id run it til you decide you need more power which with all nitro drivers it doesnt take long to need more. good luck and in my personal opinion is the rtr is more than enough you can always add upgrades as you go. ill ive done to mine so far is the quick change hubs in the rear.

RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-
i know i might get bashed but before you buy the firestorm make sure your lhs carries parts for it..unless you have enough money to place a big order for parts, right now not alotta people have them so parts at races will be hard to come by. But good luck to you at the races hopefully this truck will bring hpi into the racing scene in a big way..

RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-
in reply to 46u, my choice was only influenced by the fact that none of the lhs around here were going to carry parts for them unless you order them. And at this point ive seen them both run and the way they look and if mototr are kept stock the gt2 is faster, but i do like the layout and the cleanliness of the firestorm, and if they do become popular and lhs start stocking parts instead of having to order them i will buy one again..just racing makes it hard when you have to order all your parts and wait for them..good luck i hope you enjoy yours.
