RE: My home built Sand rail cage
We made them so we would have access to every bolt, nut and all the hing pins. I have removed the fuel tank, radio box, and motor without removing the cage.. I only removed it to paint it this weekend and its been on for a few months.

Stock steering parts with Fast Eddys turn buckles front and rear.. Rear turnbuckels have "extra meat" added to them at the stock spacing of 12mm. Helps alot not to brak turnbuckels. I did yank one out of the upper arm after all of this.

No problems.. All is good. I was running without fluid in my front shocks most of the day.. Lost the O rings, but the shafts are perfect as well as the rest of the buggy. Today I pulled the rear turnbuckle out of the upper arm.. Thats it!!

This shows the stress our buggys go through in a landing.. This is from a 12 to 15 ft drop out about 20 to 30 feet. Very big hill and lots of fun.
