RE: Range and wire
winding up the atenna could mess with your reception, nevermind range. i tried doing it before and my servos kept twithing.

RE: one way bearing
you couldent do that because CA won't stick metal to metal. anyway, if it did stick it, the engine wouldent start cause the bearing would be holding the crank shaft in place

RE: Clutch housing loose for X-Terminator/ruined gears?
The clutch bell should be like that. when you open the throtle, the revs of the engine open up the clutch shoes(CFF) and rub against the housing. don't know bout the gears. is the engine mounten right?

RE: Broke the piston skirt!!
my vx-12 has a piece gone out of the skirt too and it works fine but i dont know about yours. there is a reason that hole is there and if it is made bigger there could be problems. it could also weaken the rest if the skirt and fall apart leaving you with a messed up engine. id say get a new piston before starting it. better to be safe than sorry!!

RE: mini V8
iv herd of that before. those guys went through years of development in order to get it right. they say that the one in the video is the only one and they are trying to sell it for 250,000 dollars(seen as its one of a kind). the reason it is one of a kind is because the moulds got destroyed in a fire in the lab they were stored. if i was after researching for years to build such a cool engine i would take care of the moulds!!!. i don't really think there is a kit seen as they can't make any more

RE: cleaning airfilter
i just dip it in a bit of nitro and squeeze it with a cloth. it works well. the filter expands for a while but it goes down after a while.

RE: not enough servo throw
if you have a digital transmitter you can set the EPA (End Point Adjustment), which will increase the throw. if you don't, you kind of have to stick with it the way it is.

RE: Pullstart repair
open it up. if the string is not going back in the spring is broken. if it broken where it attaches to the cover its easy to fix. you just need to bend a bit of the spring and put it back where it broke off.

RE: On road racing areas ( not tracks )
That sounds the very same as the road in front of my house (except for the church thing!). i usualy go out at bout 8 o'clock when the road is quiet and i get myself in a possition where i can see the traffic coming from both directions. It works out fine and my car is still in one piece!
